Question. You said you wash your hair at least once a week. You also said you try to blow dry only once a month. What do you do after you wash it, if you don't blow dry it all the time?? I try not to use my blow dryer a lot, but I don't want my hair to air dry. Would you recommend SITTING under a dryer?

@Sheyanne3991 I keep in my hair in wigs as a protective style. I wash it while in plaits and allow to air dry. I remove the plait every 4-6 weeks. Heat is heat, but I assume it's not as direct a blowdryer.

@MsStarsx10 Thank you. I do blow dry, but I only straighten about once every three months. Sew-ins are cool. But, remember to take care of your hair under. It's harder to wash with a sew-in, that's why I prefer half-wigs. I wore a sew-in for a year, getting it re-installed every 2-3 months. It grew, but it was lifeless.

@InquisitivelyMe Co-washing is washing hair w/ conditioner vs shampoo. The process is still the same as though you're washing with shampoo, but it's conditioner. It helps to cleanse the scalp and it imparts moisture. Its less harsh than shampoo; BUT, I still believe in shampooing, particularly when I want to straighten my hair.
