@tmadams100 My pastor doesn't have a boyfriend; he has a husband. They were married in our church in July of 2008, before extremists passed a law here in California to make same-sex marriage illegal. All those who were married before the ban remain legally married, making my state home to more legally-married same-sex couples than any other.

@TheReformed1 well first if a god exists he must of been the one that made me trans in the first place, he must of been the one to put a female brain inside a male body. so how do you know its not part of his design for me to experience life as both genders first as a man and now as a woman. @belindabell2 God didn't create anybody gay. Why would God create someone gay, and then say in His Word, that homosexuals and sodomites will NOT inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)? Why would God create a person to be gay, and then warn him that he will be worthy of God's wrath, for having sex with another man (Romans 1:26-32)? Homosexuality and lesbianism are sins according to God's Word. To deny that is to create your own "gay" god, which breaks the First Commandment.

Besides, we're human, we like to have some tangible way of saying "you're mine" and marriage is the most popular and recognized way of doing it these days.
