Too bad they have to play the melodramatic music. It's distracting and cheesy all you need and Natasha and Liam's beautiful speaking voices and intelligent words.
@lopytube Most of these people, I believe, watched this because of Liam Neeson and Natasha Richardson. Looks like this video came from a PB S production, OR a BBC program? Does anyone know?
@pelotonfirme No one offered her a helmet, and she knew nothing about skiing. The resort has put out a lot of false statements, to cover for their negligence. The ice had melted, and the slope was too slippery. She was standing still, and fell backwards. In addition, the resort is excessively remote 96-8 hours) from a full care hospital. It should not be operating with no nearby medical care.
@pelotonfirme Not true. She was not offered one. Also, she never "refused medical help." The first ambulance never saw her; the resort had Natasha, who had a head injury, sign that she had "refused" help, to cover for their own negligence-they had not maintained the ice on the slope.
The resort put out many false statements; independent eye witnesses contradict what resort employees had reported.

It's Edmond's monologue from Long Day's Journey Into Night. I posted an audio clip of it from the same PBS documentary on O'Neill that the above video is from, but added my own music.
As I foretold you, were all spirits, and Are melted into air, into thin air: And like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd tow'rs, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve, And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on; and our little life Is rounded with a sleep." The Tempest Act 4, scene 1
what liam neeson, in that first part, was trying to say was: when acting in a role, just be yourself, act natural, and act naturally, according to how the actor(s) in front of you act. Don't be like all the other bad actors out there who rehearse how they're gonna act beforehand and who simply wait until the other actor is finished talking so that they can begin talking the way they rehearsed it.....act like you're conversing with a friend or with a regular person in real life!
I hope Liam feels the love and admiration that surround him, to help overcome a little the deep loss of his beautiful and talented wife Natasha. May she rest in peace.
Unlike a lot of people, Tasha and Liam really LIVED. They were a couple who were passionate about life. Something tells me that Tasha's family will be able to recover from this tragedy, knowing that she made every moment truly count.

yaa i agree she was a good actress...who gives a fukk about that? she did not put food on your table did she?...poor people around the world are more worth talking about cos they dont even get $1 per day...that greedy bitch made millions and never gave it to the poor...i hope all hollywood greedy bitchs and bastards die like her
1) ALWAYS wear a helmet when skiing, biking, sledding, boarding, etcetera. "Helmet hair" is a small price to pay for going home to your children.
2) When trained personnel tell you they'd like you to be assessed by a doctor, DO IT. Refusing medical care doesn't make you tough, it makes you DEAD.
3) Make sure you talk to your family about organ donation. If Ms. Richardson's organs had been donated, she could have saved 7 lives and her death would not have been in vain! DONATE!
More people die from crossing the road each day than head injuries whilst ski-ing. A helmet may not neccessarily have made any difference, she may have had an unknown congenital vascular malformation . She refused medical care because she felt well initially. People are only kept in for observation for 24 hrs if they're momentarily unconscious following their head injury or have specific symptoms (headache, visual problems, vomiting, hemiplegia, dysphasia) Her symptoms were slowly progressive.
Furthermore, you have no idea about Natasha or Liam's views about organ donation, your remarks are presumptuous, facetious, arrogant and highly inappropriate. Aftersight is so easy isn't it, you smart-arsed imbecile.
who cares if she dead...they are millions of people dying in the world of starvation and hunger...i have never seen natasha do any good to the poor and needy...they is noting special about her exect she was a greedy old bitch. ..i never seen the news channels talk about the innocent people getting killed that much.
you're a dumb fuck-head goodfellazevents...a lot of people feel like you do but they wouldn't bother to come onto this site to say it...you're an ignorant fuck-head with no life and you're getting off on saying mean things on this page cuz you know it will hurt people...2 words for you goodfellaz...FUCK YOU..
Peace and Blessings to this woman's family...everybody has one
she might not have saved babies or donated all your money but to speak ill of the dead, especially since she isnt a bad person makes you a piece of shit.
just because youtube allows you to say your opinion doesnt mean life all of a sudden loses consequences from your words.
i dont beleive in god but i believe in common courtesy and the fact that where it is lacked it will come back to get you
I must be dreaming.. are you kidding me? Did you actually just say that? If you would actually do some research before writing such disheartening messages on YouTube videos you might have learned something. She was an amazing person, never greedy, NEVER. These amazing comments people make about her are all real. She was an incredible perosn. Beautiful, fascinating, GENEROUS, she was just so nice, caring, and loving. I don't know how you can't see that. Now, no more mister nice guy. FUCK OFF
Your message is right on! Some people love to leave horrible messages after someone dies because they so desperately need attention, or perhaps are so miserable, rotten and jealous because they know no one would write beautiful tributes to them when they pass.
R.I.P Natasha. Liam Im so sorry for your loss. We love you here in Ireland . We will all be thinking of you. I first heard of you when you filimed Michael Collins. I lived in a flat in Phibsboro Dublin where you shot some of the opening scenes. I could see it from my back window. You can see the steeple of St Peters church in the Movie. Ive loved your acting ever since. I hope time will be good to you and your heartache will ease. God bless you, God bless Natasha.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the Faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
I understand your sentiments are well meant however the fact that they were intelligent should not make this tragedy any more poignant than if they were of below average intelligence. Even people who are not particularly bright can be kind, good and virtuous.
She was receiving a lesson at the time. On a beginner ski course. She is not an athletic person. Probably lived a very "comfortable" life so far. The officials at the ski resort say that they accompanied her to her hotel room "but not because she was famous". They also advocate the use of helmets. And claim that they cannot impose this as a rule. Why? Helmets = loss of business. Natasha Richardson falling on your ski hill = much business. Remember, celebrity worship destroys lives. Aboxatax out.

Such a beautiful, talented woman to be taken so early in life. Liam and family my heart crys for your pain.
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
