@heomak....I'm sorry but is this a regular thing in India? It sounds like sabotage! So "Hijras" are men (transvestites) who bring luck to your baby? Please explain more...I'm watching the video, but I am too shocked!

@JPNJ238 There is plenty more information available online. National Geographic did an interesting piece on hijra a while back. They are a rather ancient subculture.

omg..this reminds me of the time a bunch of hijras pressed our intercom door buzzer & when i answered, they said "congratulations on your new baby"...my brother was born just a week ago..i was surprised at how they were able to find that out....i didn't ask them how they found out..instead...i started flirting with the hijras on the intercom..it was hilarious...we didn't let them in.we don't believe in the superstition that they hold divine powers & can curse us.
