The correct name is xoloitzcuintle and are Mexican dogs. Hairless naming is insulting

these dogs are mezmorizing. I am speechless. The only hairless dog I have ever seen is the chinese crested (small breed) this is wonderful I love them. We dont have these in England. maureen. Thanks for sharing the video.xxxxxxx

@moredoran but you do have xolos in england they are very similar to the peruvian i know cos i own two im in wales and i bought one of mine from a breeder in derbyshire there are two breeders in england and soon to be one in wales, however there is still only around 30 xolos in uk

they are not hypo-allergenic 99% of people arent allergic to the fur its the dander. and all dogs have dander

@teagan014 hi, the reason people are less allergic to hairless dogs is because there is no coat to hold the dander, it is about 40% of people with allergies are allergic to dander the majority are allergic to the saliva, i was lucky my daughter was one of the 40% so is not allergic to my dogs
