You're doin' very good mikayla. soprano sound is very nice (warm, soft, full, round) take care of intonation (a common problem on soprano) but youre doin good!
here is something to think about. To make the solo more interesting try to change up the rhythmic concept. You seem to fall into the same rhythm pattern a lot. The rhythm is what the audience will remember. They will either say "wow that FELT amazing!" or "ehh..." Just really think hard about what you are playing and you make it better. use off set triplet things. try a long tone. just some thoughts.
i think rhythm is second nature (do you say so in english? sorry ^^i want to say,its not THAT important)
the MOST important thing, is the SOUND!! thats the FIRST thing, the audience will notice, thats what they will remember certainly, cause thats your "voice" on the instrument. thats what makes a instrumentalist special! there are countless people who can play licks like michael brecker.. but people having an authentic sound are rare.
Hey, Mikayla, I wrote to your grandfather a long time ago, asking him about your zodiac sign. I don't know if you /or he/ remember ;) But anyways, I really love your performance, and I must say, you are improving sooooo fast. :)
Greetings from someone not so much bigger than you are- Radina, 18 :)

Thanks for listening.
I looked up "Groovin hard" and found quite a few. Is yours the one from The Lower Moreland High School jazz band?
