First of all, Medal of Honor sounds are pretty bad for a movie like this, you should look up their sound mods on filefront and you can get a lot of better ones. The muzzle flash needs to be bigger, possibly some glow in the surroundings, but thats being picky for now. And yes, never shoot at a tank with a bolt action rifle...

Awesome effects, only gripes would be the lack of recoil (or more lack of "realistic" recoil) when the soldier is shooting the tank... and why is shooting a tank with a lee enfield? he should be shooting it with some form of anti-tank weapon. ahh well, i'm sure you will work it out :)

We didn't have an M1 we could use at that time, only this Lee Enfield, hence the bolt action... was just a very early fx test.

make the walls n stuff light up as the rifle shoots :) maybe make the mg not so.. stared? make it different every couple of bursts maybe? the panzer made it look like a game :) im assumin it is but work on the panzer a bit, more recoil for the rifle also the fire just from everythin make it light up around it instead of just the barrel :p um other than that hardcore i thought it was a movie right in the begginin :)

Try making the frame light up on the muzzle flash for extra realism and when firing the rifle act as though theres more recoil (its bolt action by the looks). Also add more contrast to the muzzle flashes

I don't think rifle calibre ammo quite cuts it against panzers. Otherwise the effects were quite good.

Hey this is pretty cool. The look was good, didn't feel like video. What kinda camera you use? The wall hits and the tank shot looked good but the rifle flash didn't feel right. But really good job overall, crazy how nit picky all these war/weapons experts are around here.

Thx for the feedback, really appreciate it. I'm still working on improving the use of digital FX... This was just shot on a simple consumer JVC mini-dv cam. Worked surprisingly well :)

and for my compositing it's AfterEffects, from Adobe.

Yes, like I said before, I know that.

It's just a test for sounds and visual FX.

The rifle actually is a prop from 'Around the world in 8O days' and the only one I had at that time.

When we do a full movie, rest assured, we will have accurate props and costumes...
