The only way you can be accepted into this prestigeous school, is if you qualify with high grades and you have to efford it, they do not just accept white people and I think that it is outrageous about people making a big deal about the ethnicity percent of UCSD

I think diversity is misconception about California. Yes, their are many inter-racial marriages, the majority of them being, Asian and Whites. San Francisco also has a large gay community. But the suburbs are where mostly Asian and Whites live. And Blacks live in their own area and so do Mexicans. The real problem is the educational cirriculum that is being taught to all students, where it erases African, Asian and Latino achievements to civilization out. Blacks are almost erased entirely.

Should the non-white person pay the same price as a white person would have? Or do we have segregated (white and colored) systems of justice?
the noose incident was completely irrelevant and non-contingent on the recent compton cookout party... if the demands that the black student union are accepted... then ucsd's admissions process will change from a comprehensive admissions process to a holistic admissions process... which will be influenced by ethnicity and other racial, cultural factors in the application

There are no divisions between races at UCSD. This lady is trying to make the situation seem way more scary than it is. An off campus party hosted by a non-UCSD student has nothing to do with the UCSD population. She keeps referring to the "fallout" as if everyone should have some intense reaction to anything that takes place. I can confidently say that there is no racial tension at our school. The events that followed the off campus party were perpetrated by a total of 2 stupid people.
