09' gts is way better than 08'. I got a 710 Rockford fosgate. 168 hp. Better made Cvt engine. It's also 2.4L. To bad so sad for people in an 08' or below.

We have the orange 2010 Lancer GTS and the bill is $18,000. Its worth every penny for the styling. The ride is a bit bumpy and the car yearns for more HP, but overall we really love cars subwoofer and style.

I have an '08 GTS and all I got to say is: it's way too heavy, not enough low end torque, and could still use some more hp. Other then that it's a solid car.

I just got sucked into buying one today 2009 GTS fully loaded (used), paid like $21,000 Canadian (not including taxes). I hope it is as good as people are saying here. 

That darn salesman was good :) I didn't even listen to the Rockford sound system ;) They salesman saw me coming a mile away. I at least got 4 winter tires and rims, and it has new all seasons on it now, less than 20km on them.

I was considering this car but it did not have the AWD that i needed for the snow in winter (i always get stuck)-nice looking car, nice features, and could probably pimp it out more and add some performance like an air flow intake etc. Got the Subbie instead, and it is nice too.

LOL, I have one of these a Blue GTS with all the trimmings with a 5 speed manual. Helps with the use of the torque, but anyways. I find it funny that he couldn't find the trunk release when all you do is look down next to the drivers door. Not hard to find.

It's a good car but noise isolation is pathetic. Engine feels strained all the time. The rest the car does very well.

I've had my car 7 months and not a single problem. It's called the VRX here in Australia but is exactly what you see here, except it costs a touch over $30,000 with the 5 speed manual. Mine is champagne colour and looks nice. I wanted blue but there was a 2 month wait on them.

I'm getting one of these in silver straight from the dealership. It's a used 2008 and it's silver with the paddle shifters and the sun and sound packg. for a used price, it's 16995 but im trading two cars in and hopefully i wont have to pay that much.

Plus, I don't like when he said that the GTS has a 0-60 time of 9 seconds. Car and Driver, or some other car magazine company go the car at 0-60 in 7 seconds. Still not the greatest time, but it's far better than 9 seconds lol.

The reason the 0-60 is so slow is because of first gear. Once you get out of it it pretty much hauls =)

I think you should go for red. Black looks sharp but its a bitch to keep clean.

To the other posters the Lancer doesn't come with a 6-speed manual. For the CVT sport paddles have 6 shift points but its still an auto not a manual. The Ralliart and EVO will come with 6-speed manual.

Spring, or mid 2008 is when the turbo charged awd ralliart will be coming out I think, it's intended to compete with the baseline WRX model.

I'm not sure of exact date, then again Mitsubishi hasn't announced it yet. Next year (08) as an 09. I thought I read somewhere that it will come out after the EVO. yes there is a RalliArt that is competing against the Impreza WRX. It will have AWD and a reported 220-230hp.
