  • Can some one enlighten me who the violinist was that played for the song Humne to dil ko aapke

  • Very very melodious with rich overtones and sung melodiously by Rafi and Asha.

  • O.P.Nayyar creates a web of sublime music that enchants you and you will feel transported into another world!

  • MAGIC of trio MUHAMMAD RAFI SAAB 2 ASHA JI 3 OP NAYAR SAAB

  • very melodious song , one of the best of rafi, asha and o p

  • the ultimate bliss ........... kuch nahi kehna

  • ultimate bliss

  • Awwwwesome

  • If only there were a video available for viewing of this haunting and dreamlike melody of a song.........so effervescent and soothing...

  • Very few compositions rise up to this level of romance: its a tribute to the talents of all involved: Majrooh/OP/Asha/Rafi and all those wonderful instrumentalists, especially that violin guy. Very beautiful duet indeed. So pleasing an upload. Thanks a million.

  • Old is gold.

  • Phenomenal song...what a great creation by O.P.Nayyar and beautifully crafted by Rafi Saab & Asha....Versatility at its BEST!!

Long Live The Best Lyricists, Tremendous Playback Singers & Mesmerizing Music Composers.

  • Beautiful duet. great composition by OP Nayyar.

  • My favorite song...i luv to hear it again and again...can anyone upload the video..

  • About 6 months ago my friend has send the comments & mentioning H.S Behari

It is S.H Behari ( Shamshul Huda Behari) This song is however by Majrooh Sultanpuri and after this film Op & Majrooh had a tiff & and never worked together

    AFTAB

  • ...another dreamy gem from op asha and rafi ......and what lovely use of a single violinist and the dreamy beats which go with it

  • This is OP Nayyar composition written by Majrooh Sultanpuri for film Mere Sanam. This information is taken from original EMI Compact Disc which should be authentic.

  • This is OP Nayyar composition written by Majrooh Sultanpuri for film Mere Sanam. This information is taken from oroginal EMI Compact Disc which should be authentic.

  • a very lovely song.

  • This song is just wonderful..

It is a lyrical expression of mutual yearning of two souls, their absolute trust in each other, and their longing to become one!

The pace of the song is perfect... its words deeply meaningful... use of instrumental music so enhancing of the impact....and the voices of Asha-Rafi just divine!

Thank you for giving such a treat, kpm5886!

  • simply superb. took 25 long years to listen again.

    where'as all the music gone?

    thanks kpm5886

  • If I am not mistaken , the music Director of movie Poonam Ki Raat was Salil Chowdhry. his line of composition is entirely different and quit melodious , only one thing common, both are great Music Director and they use their hit melodies with slight variation in other songs and movies.

  • KhurramDBG has uploaded this song also. His video claims that the song was sung in the movie Poonam Ki Raat (1965). I am not sure either way.

    Some one please clairfy

  • @j11994466s No. It is a purely OP Naiyyar piece and Poonam KiRaat was not a Naiyyar film.

  • Truly amongst the best of OPN.

  • The best of all the excellent songs of MERE SANAM tuned by O.P.

  • brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!......

  • kpm5886.

thanks so much for posting this. i know this song is from mere sanam as i have it in an audio casette purchased 20 years ago.

but you are perfectly right. this PARTICULAR SONG IS RARE, TO FIND IN YOUTUBE, because it was never picturized in the movie. if you watch mere sanam movie 1965, you cannot find this song in the movie.

what a masterpiece..that slow chugging music with piano interludes from op nayyar..typical of OP

  • The most complete song in every way - keeps haunting me and I can't help not listening to it when I get the chance. Uplifting, thrilling and mind blowing! Thanks for the upload.

  • Listening to this song after a long long time. Filled the heart..wah! wah!!

  • Please post Video.

  • Tunes when created with heart end up being such scintillating melodies and to top it if the three likes, Rafi, Asha and O P Nayyar get together its the ultimate. The tune, the voices and the lyrics make it the end of desire. Have always been a fan of the trio and yet another reason to love the trio forever.

  • Another Class creation of Nayyar

  • Thanks dear Vipan Bhai, for sending me this beautiful item. WONDERFUL. Khalid Asghar.

  • What a romantic song! soft and sweet melody...thx fo sharing

  • Revival of college days' memories. This song is a demonstration of highest skills of Rafi, Asha and OPN trio. Most beautiful upload. Thanks kpm5886

  • So refreshingly different from the usual thrill-giving songs of the OPN-Rafi-Asha combination. Most creations of the trio were either lively street songs , party songs or cabaret songs. This one and a few more like it were fit for the finest traditional mehfils. Many thanks,kpm5866.

  • a masterly composition by a "maverick" composer - OPN.

  • Thanks for upload. One of my all time favourites!!!

  • my most favourite song of o.p and md rafi

  • Jab aap hi ke haath hai taqdeer ki kitab, kya kya likha krenge ye ab aap sochiye........

    Kya baat hai........

    R Mehta

  • If I am not mistaken the song writer was H.S Bihari - Most of O.P.Nayyar song was written by H.S.Bihari.

  • jab dil se humne jod liya dil ka silsila, aage hai kya naseeb mein jaane meri bala

Listen to "Jod" when he sings second time, and also "bala"...It's killing!!

Rafi Sahab = definition of music.

  • great song

  • I saw the film "mere sanam" in Uganda in 1965. This song was most definitely included. But, I never saw it on any video version after that. It is a great song. Asha is just out of this world, literally, dreamlike.

  • This song was never in the movie I have seen this film at least for 5 times for its wonderful songs in differenyt places and years!

  • I also saw the movie in the theatre when it was first released and am very sure this beautiful song was in it. They deleted it in the video version which is pretty sad.

  • I have been searching for this song for a long time but could not remember which film it was from...it's just a classic. Thanks for putting it up.

  • The song is very very beautiful. The voilin solo is great. But yes, the song was picturised in the movie. I had seen the film when I was a kid and I still remember the song. It is dream song. Bishwajeet dreams that he is singing this song with Asha Parekh. The dream like qualiy of the song is unmistakable.

  • dear knishad,

    thanks and regards

    madhu sudhan

  • You are correct! Not in the movie. And also not in the CD release of the Mere Sanam songs!! The LP has this song.

  • Madly romantic!
