After all sorts of previews/articals/announcments­/posters I thought this would be a brutal movie with full of gore. Even atfer the first scene I was really hyped and excited to still watch it. After the movie ended I thought: WTF? Is this the same movie I was so excited about? Even the first scene doesn't fit it. Really, I thought this movie would be like Saw or Hostel. I was terribly wrong...

This was a terrible piece of video (the movie, not the video). Is this what a supposed thriller is nowadays? I guess if you're a fan of Saw movies after the first one you'd like this. What happened to Hitchcock? What happened to David Lynch? Disappointed in Elisha for doing this one! Just plain bad and I wish I could get my time back since I saw it for free!

Captivity was more thriller than horror movie but I loved it - very underrated. I still believe that Elisha Cuthbert deserves much serious roles but she looks really fantastic in horor/thriller films. At least she can act unlike Megan Fox or Hilary Duff.

Sorry, but the movie isn't that great anyway - it's quite predictable. Most people are only gonna watch it because of Elisha anyway and not because it has a strikingly original script :)
