To answer your question the legend of Bloody Mary is a mix of different tales and legends. Usually she is described as Mary Worth who was supposedly a child murderer. To be honest I don't think anyone really knows who "Bloody Mary" really is. The legend is an old one. As for summoning her the only thing that is consistent is being by a mirror, otherwise it depends on who you ask. Hope that answers your question.
