its good video remembering the 1950's-1970's Le mans racing series. the only thing is back to 1960's. why the driver have to run and get in to there car is that a go signal when the race begin? what about the seatbelt? thats why i think many race car driver died because of Lack of safety awareness.

That was a tradition from Le Mans.

Normally they putted the belts on the sraight for saving time in the beggining.
