Kofi Annan already made his position clear well BEFORE the illegal invasion began. The USA just ignored it as they were hell-bent to invade Iraq.

Thank you very much Bush and Blair, and in particular the people behind the scenes pulling the strings like Perle and Wolfowitz, for the murdering of 1.5 million innocent Iraqis and for creating over 6 million orphants, as well as for the DU love-bombs causing birth defects for many generations to come.
