I disagree that it is pointless ranting against people who abuse YouTube, The Archfiend even admitted that people like Shaycarl and Ijustine were fading, while channels like freddiew an FPS Russia were who are generally more ethical are getting more popular. This shows some positive improvement. I admit YouTube does things that suck but I would not lose hope completely.

MOVE TO ZIPPCAST PEOPLE.. Zippcast holds many features Youtube does (Uploading videos,Watching,Rating videos,Subbing people Etc..The basics) and many that YT doesn't have or never has had (You can also upload Audio files and pictures for people to view, not to mention Zippcast has a Chat system ) It has a Nice channel Layout, Almost a copy of the YT 2008 Layout. So what are you waiting for? If YT wont change, then go to the place that will give you what you want, Zippcast. Thank You
