  • Just another day in the Middle East...

  • RRUUUNNNN!!!! WATER!!!!!!

  • SHIP Y U NO STAY IN WATER???

  • @KierstenAndBella Beached for scrap... Her Engine's Last Hooraar..

  • Beached az bro

  • LAND HO..............LY SHIT

  • new housing for the barbarians

  • wowh what a scene of ship come on to the beach land very rare scenes seen in real life by ordionary mans............

  • quality driving

  • Ship scrapping work is only available to third World countries because they don't have the punitive EPA standards, so our shipyards can't eve bid on these ships and thats that. They are towed to India etc for scrapping. A lot of U.S. jobs could be created by scrapping in shipyards that are now idol because the cost of building ships is just too high except for Navy contracts that don't care about cost. Ask anyone at Newport News or Groton, CT. We've tried.

  • And now the four penguins are going to swing down the ship's anchor!

  • Because tipping a boat on its side is too mainstream

  • now send in the kids to chop it up.

  • How to kill the ocean 101

  • DAD!! I'm home!!

  • Have fun with Pulling back to the Sea xD

  • @Taschenjunge its never going back out to sea. its being scrapped.

  • I'm waiting for some penguins to come out from the ship

  • And now you run...

  • Where's all the hippy environmentalists and their holier than thou comments? Can't show a video of a car doing a burn out without their global warming propaganda, yet here's a video of a massive ship being beached for peasants to cut apart for scrap without any thought for the environment. You think there is ANY concern about all the pollutants in that ship? No, it's all just dumped into the sea if they can't salvage it. Scrapping a ship properly COSTS money.

  • @442hoeky its recycling, which is far more environmentally friendly than forging new parts. the whole point of doing it there and then in that way is that nobody else in the world will reuse these kind of parts. they dont just tear it apart and leave it there. what would be the point of that.

  • @MrIsaacE When you recycle in the third world, they take all the scrap metal and dump whatever is left over into the ocean. My point was that you could have that same ship recycled in the western world, but it would cost you a fortune to have all the fuel, oils, plastics, insulation (including all the wiring insulation) etc. disposed of properly. THAT'S why they take a few bucks from the third world for the scrap metal and turn a blind eye to the mess they make.

  • @442hoeky yes you are right. like so many thhings at the moment, long term impact is being disregarded for the far more visible short term profits.

  • @442hoeky by the sounds of it, you do not want to start watching the foreign News.. Its really sad.. Pollution, Waste, Lives..

  • e ja era também néh...

  • Battle Stations Yo!

  • honey, im home

  • Fail Terrorists

  • her last voyge

  • Ok lads remember we are parked on the beach!!! :]

  • LOL

  • 'Boss, how do you we get out of this one?'

  • LAND HO...LY SHIT!!

  • The wogs scrap these vesels and sell the parts as scrap, i suppose it takes their mind of coming to the uk..

  • @MANTLEBERG

2 Thumbs up on using, "wogs" in a sentence.

  • lulz at the oh shit water

  • well shit if they didn't want it i would have taken it

  • the guy in black trouser runs like gay!!

  • That one dude avoiding the wake twice has got some sweet moves!!!

  • Did you guys notice that at the begining it said "ship beaching May 17, 2009" but underneath the video it says "uploaded on May 16th, 2009"

  • beached ass

  • I'd love to do that, drive a great big fricking ship into a beach!

I've seen this place on TV before, where they scrap these old ships at the end of their useful lives. Going to look for it on Google Earth........be interesting!

  • oh my god! there's water! run!!

  • Why... did they do this?!

  • @YourSkyliner to cut it to pieces

  • Ship happens.

  • THE FIRE NATION IS ATTACKING!!!!

  • Is this a win for fail?

  • @tacocrusader win

  • "Ship Breakers Facility" is a bit exaggerated; it's just a beach with lots of trucks waiting on the shore for the valuable materials/engines etc.etc. and some cranes. It's not not like they are demolishing the ship in a professional way in a drydock with huge floating cranes; lots of safety inspectors and work-licenses and so on and on...it's all make shift, amateuristic ,VERY unsafe,VERY underpaid and only one guy gets all the benefits: that Pakistani business man.

  • I hope it has rear veiw camera...

  • I feel sad to know that a ship have to be demolished...

  • @PilotOnBoard89 Me too. It is almost as if it has the personality and memory of every sailor that worked on it.

  • @PilotOnBoard89

Better that than slowly rusting away somewhere or being beached and getting battered to pieces from the relentless waves.

  • i like when everybody runs like theres an alien invasion

  • i think he passed their parking test

  • if ships are not being used, they are being abandoned in this way?

  • @lemon2551 They are scrapped there. Steel and metals removed, fuels disposed of. We used to do this in yards through out the world but it is a dirty business. Ships used to be scrapped in the Gareloch near Faslane. We in the western world don't want this happening next door so the Asian countries now scrap and make everything. Check out the origin of your Henkle knifes if you doubt this.

  • @Alexmcgruer3 I don't doubt your story. You just didn't mention these guys make lo-o-ong days for a wage we wouldn't even consider to get out of bed for; they do all of this very dangerous demolition work(cutting up the hull/ " " the propellor with 6 mtr diameter) with zero safety precautions what so ever on their sandals and/or their bare feet; no gloves/masks you name it...

the environment isn't a hot topic here either: just cut, grind and hack and let it all flow away in the big,big ocean.

  • @ZerokillerOppel1 Doubt it? you expanded on it... The simple truth is the UK , Canada , the EU and the USA has limits on what we will tolerate. Unions helped with this, democracy to some extent and the acceptance of some basic rights.

The workers on this beach and other places are treated very badly by our standards but we still buy stuff from the Peoples Republic of Not Here, absolutely careless of their conditions.

This is the long form of , You are right!

  • ohhhh beached as bro!

  • big ship coming your way and your'e sccared of getting your feet wet

  • Those people didn't expect a huge wave to come with a huge ship beaching??

  • yes i hav...n ur country, wat u were implying is thats wat i live n here which isnt true.

  • the size of that ship freaks me out

  • Im pretty sure these Pakistanis have nothing else better to do.

  • @gmm06f pretty sure u cudnt pass the chance & shut the fuck up

  • @boeingt Boeing huh? You plan on taking one of those and doing what your brothers and cousins did on 9/11? Let me help you....there aren't any virgins waiting for you when you die. Hope this helps.

  • @gmm06f no i dont, i plan on serving passenger wid job of flying them places. ur 1 of those ppl who just got to say sum kind of bull even if the situation doesnt remotely suit it. & fyi, these ppl dont need nything better cuz this is their fucking job.idiot.

  • @boeingt I'd love to rip you a new one but, your terrible grammar and spelling did that for yourself. I find it hard to believe anyone would give you a pilots licence. Maybe those retard Pakistanis who are hanging out on the beach wrote one with crayon and gave it to you. FYI, pork is amazing. Maybe if YOU people tried it you wouldn't be trying to kill everything that walked.

  • @gmm06f k. u win on utube n many categories...congrats

  • @boeingt Thanks for conceding. Now have fun playing in your sand box you call a home.

  • @gmm06f actually if ur from u.s then dont get me wrong but thats where the real sandboxes are. i hav lived in them. while ur just being a bitch not knowing anything abut wat i live in, which btw is waaaay batter then that crap

  • @boeingt Are you admitting that you have lived in a sandbox?

  • uhm.... why?

  • and then jim carrey pops his head out of the window,- LIKE A GLOVE!

  • THIS..IS.......SPARTAAAAA!!!!!!!

  • like a boss

  • theres gold in them thar hills!

  • ITS FUNNY THAT INDIANS ARE AFRAID OF THE WATER.

  • @seaboo143 No bitch... that motherfucker who commented is afraid of his mothers tits

  • must of thought he was driving a hovercraft lol...

  • Those damn penguins can never find Antarctica...

  • wow! good video.

  • "OK", says the captain, "We're here. Now everybody out."

  • lol awwh the people are afraid of a wee bit of water.

  • Built as the Swan Arrow in 1977 I think, Gearbulk, Norway

  • For Narnia!

  • May I ask if it's a waste of energy scraping these ships and re-manufacturing all the steel? Does this mean we heat the ship until the whole stinking lots melts (again) so that we can make new stuff? So not only do we cut it up then, we melt it all too? Food for thought - but what a shame we can't just make this ship new again with new engines and a refurb?

  • @m0mcx Well to do all that you pretty much have to rebuild the entire ship anyway. The only thing that would remain untouched would be the hull. An that would be warped in dry dock once you cut out all the beams to get the engines out. Its actually cheaper and safer to build a new one. If anyone says otherwise. Prove it.

  • @m0mcx, ships have a limited service life, usually around 25 years, after which e.g. fatigue and corrosion become a major problem. The design is also often outdated (e.g. single-hull tankers) and even with new engines the ship would not be as economical as a newbuilding.

Also, often the steel is just rolled into low-tech products used in the local market, e.g. concrete rebar. New ships are usually built of new steel.

  • @tupsumato Thanks for the update. I appreciate it.

  • fake and real im not a troll what the hell

  • Water.... Aaaaargh I'm melting.

  • He'll get a parking ticket for sure...what was he thinking?

  • GET OUTTA OF THE WATER NIGGA!

  • Those Somali pirates sure are getting ballsy..

  • guys its ok it just water

  • damn that chuck norris!

  • why the hell do you want to beach a perfecly good ship

  • WHY???

  • oh so NOW you run... ok i get it

  • That is the cheap and dirty way to get rid of an old cargo ship. It's about to get attacked by an ant like army of Indians with acetylene torches.

  • Cmon Guys, what are you looking at? Get on over there and help push it back into the water

  • getting in is easy, getting out is going to be a pain in the ass

  • Thumbs up if you expected it to fall

  • leerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooy jenkins

oh my god he just floated in there

  • LOLZ! Humans Are Scared Of The Water?

  • Why did they run aground?

    Why did everybody run?

  • Camraman just stands there when that wave hit

    LIKE A BOSS.

  • how much money in scrap is this worth?

  • @hotdog2020 At current metal values about 3 million

  • Check out the last guy to run off the beach (striped shirt), that's the closest the guy's been to a "Bath" in months, next time they beach a ship, somebody should put a bar of soap in his shirt pocket and "TRIP" him ! and check out the "Hodge" running off of the beach wearing the TENT down to is ankels, he looks like a Fuckin "Feminin Napkin" with feet ! That's some "Crew" of "Homeys", it must smell like a shit house door on a Tuna boat on that beach !

  • The terrorist are running to there hole homes lol

  • and then.... THE FIRE NATION ATTACKED.

  • @thanley33 thats gooooood! ;)

  • @thanley33 lol favorite comment ive seen in a long time

  • the new sport beach shipping!

  • ....... GILLIGAN!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing....Is it really Pakistan???

  • sorry sir cant park your boat here...

  • And ten minutes later the ship was gone, the rag heads ATE it

  • looks like the one of madagascar all it needed to do was sound the horn lol

  • why did they wait to the last second to RUN -_- ?????

  • It makes me mad that this ship was scrapped. It could have been put to good use ferrying college kids to spring break destinations. Students from MIT could keep it in good shape for the voyage, and there is plenty of room for brews and stuff. Really sad---a total waste.

  • See!! It is true water is displaced and those guys on the beach just got schooled.

  • Amazing. I was lucky enough in Alang to watch something similar. This was at Gadani in Pakistan? I am hoping to make that my next nautical excursion. Something fascinating about watching them being launched and watching them being taken apart like this.

  • Time zone difference, bitches! Lol

  • how could this have happened on may 17 when you uploaded it on may 16

  • Awesome vid !

  • Everyone's like RUN!

  • @SR71ABCD then there feet get soaked then theyre like aw fuck it

  • It's kinda sad watching this....all the history that ship had - then gets run up on a beach and made into razorblades.

  • look at the little bitches run from the water!

  • if you look carefully you will see that people are running from the water not from the ship o.o

  • The story of these people are extremely sad, they beach the ships, then using minimal mechanical equipment and maximum manual labor, they scrap these ships without any concern for personal safety. I just watched a documentary about it and damn it was harsh. It makes me grateful for what I have seeing people like this suffer to feed there families.

  • why would you beach a huge ship??? O-o???

  • @TheFunnySokka, to scrap it.

  • *Boat lands and ancor gets droped on beach* *Penguins of madagascar jump out of boat* o.o... Smile and wave boys.. Smile and wave... XD

  • uh...captain! Land Ahoy

  • I bet they follow health and safety and enviromental controls ..Get the cutting torches out boys fuck the ocean

  • 0:30... we are getting wet thanks
