@c0llid0r I'm glad you brought that up. I think Dusty coming across as unsexual or asexual adds to her appeal. At times she even sounds like a man which to me really takes all sexual context out of play. Yes, some of her recordings just ooze sensuality but she achieves it with a great amount of subtlety and sophistication. I really enjoy Dusty for her lack of in-your-face sexuality.
Just love this little song and the fact that Dusty sang things she liked that were quirky and fun, with a twinkle in her eyes. Also, I keep reading that she really knew how to work the mics when she sang, and I love the moment at 1:25 or so, when she sings a little rhythm part under her breath off mic, then lays into the melody again. She was a wonderfully musical soul, wasn't she?
