I've used other midi controllers with ableton this one looks intresting. As far as latency is concerned while quantisize is set to none as long as you have your virtual midi ports set up properly u shouldn't notice any latency issues I've made drum machines without any issue

My iphone receives data from i3L on my macbook and it works fine but it doesn't work the other way around. In other words if i slide a fader on my macbook my iphone gets it, if i slide the fader on my iphone, my macbook doesn't get it. Anybody could help me understand why?

check your input and out put "Sync" setting. they might be switched making the computer send and the phone recieve. its in your live preferences/ midi sync
