  • Its scratchable u idiots, but only sand can do it, no keys or knifes only sand

  • This is all bullshit haha My Droid X2 has gorilla glass and it got like 4 scratches as soon as I took the screen protector off. Not that I really give a shit, but these vids are just bull shit. I don't care if my phone is smashed to shit as long as it works....

  • my razr maxx has a scratch... gorilla glass is full of shit

  • @aaronbigtime Oh no a scratch you say!? Fuck better get on the phone with Motorola and fix that shit

  • iPad 2 glass scratch

  • its obviosly not a gorilla glass

  • Errmm well the stratch is actually at the bottom mid not the top. You know, that big hairline scratch about 2inchs long?

  • you guys look at the 0:10-0:11 sec and look at the top left of the phone, scratch is already there...

  • your phone is fucked, isn't it ?

  • Funny thing is i was gonna buy a protector from there, then i saw this video and saw what scamming bastards you are.

  • Thats uh galaxy dumb ass

  • u are noob

  • what was that sound at 0:16

  • Thats a normal situation???

  • WTF??? 00:14 and 00:26, what's happening there??? You fake it so you can sell your shitty protectors people in fact don't need. I'm so NEVER gonna buy anything from ZAGG.

  • Second 00:15 you scratched it with your ring. . ? But still when are you ever gunna use your phone as a freaking surf board on concrete?? -_- my droid bionic is protected with gorrilla glass and it has fell plenty of times, not a scratch on the screen, only some on the back... liars -_- im not saying it can't be scratched, im saying yours wasn't scratched by falling.. nice try though..

  • Comment removed

  • but will it blend?

  • Ok.. I have an motorola atrix. (Equip with g glass) With an otterbox. My phone has went through thousands of shit storms. And I swear its nearly invincible. Not a scratch. Nice try though bro.

  • it probably was some stone (probably diamond) ring that was backwards on his hand and that was what scratched the screen, not some pebbles..

  • HAHAHAHA u can see before he slides the phone at 0:14 he scratches it with something then after he picks it up he weirdly puts the thing in his pocket at 0:26

  • then at 0:26 put whatever it was in his back pocket..

  • @nemul also he was wearing a ring which could very likely have something attached to it to scratch the glass. what a terrible attempt at marketing.

  • Yea, why does run his left hand across the screen before he slides the phone?

  • Dropped my galaxy s2 and only ended up with one minor scratch on the plastic side of the phone. I've asked people to find the damage on my phone, no one ever does :-)

  • @702tubeDude Nice ;) Search for samsung galaxy S2 drop test and pick the top video ;) It is amazing!! I am so going to buy that one instead of iPhone =D

  • Don't you just hate it when you use your phone as a snowboard.... on tarmac.

  • I got a sgs2 and it does scratch -_- Gorilla glass too -_-

  • of cause IS NOT FAKE ! IDIOTS !!!

    GORILLA GLASS SCRATCHING ALSO !!!

    NEXUS S - GOT SCRATCHES

GALAXY S II - GOT SCRATCHES

AND THIS GALAXY S ALSO GOT SAME SHIT !

  • The way Dmw034 is claiming he pressed and turned the phone would not yield such a scratch... Just sayin'. :C

  • I saw and heard he scratched it with his ring and as others said when he smiled to someone as if it was fake because it is. If you don't count the scratch he did with the ring which is good Id say gorilla glass is pretty good.

  • @0:16..You can hear as he swipes across the phone with his left hand..You can hear as if he scratch it..

  • Wow Dmw034 is right and did u see him smile to someone after he picked it up. 0:20

  • FAKE

  • Fake lol he scrached it with his ring

  • fake, and gay.

  • 2 things, before he puts the phone down, his left hand goes across the phone. Second, if you watch his left hand the entire time, he's palming something between two fingers. As he goes to find his wipe, he puts it back in his left pocket, and BOOM, there's a scratch from the ground? lawls....

  • gorilla glass is scratch proof......

  • they didn't do that with invisible shield and just to pretend theyre better theyre doing it to the gorilla glass

  • I have invisible shield or similar product. There really is no need and is not exactly hygenic. Might aswell not protect, or get an actual case if you want to throw your phone around.

  • Was that your boss' phone?

  • normal glass would get scratched way more so stop trying to prove that even devices with gorilla glass need ur product

  • lol it isnt a fake but every glass gets scratched with sand oder some little stone ......

  • @Z0Rr0V That's right, iron and steel won't scratch glass, however, quartz (which is most of what sand is) will definitely scratch it. Same with silica dust, etc.

  • This is completely fake, They are just trying to sell their screen protector. I've dropped my kyocera echo on concrete while jogging and it didn't take a scratch. (yea it slid.)

  • It's a slight of hand magic trick. After failing to scratch the screen on several attempts (see sides of phone at the beginning), when he goes to place the phone in position to slide across the pavement, he slides his other hand across the screen, which is hiding something than CAN scratch gorilla glass.

  • I hate it when I drag my phone after me on the ground...

  • 0:29 you can see that his screen is now cracked.

  • you call that "normal situations"? I don't know about you but I can't recall the last time I slid my phone on the ground and then rubbed it on the concrete as I picked it up.

  • @jeff7829 Wait.... I thought it was standard procedure to rub the screen into the pavement while picking it up. Gah!! So THAT's what I've been doing wrong.

  • One of the worst ad's I've ever seen. It's like trying to sell dog crap as a cure for cancer.

  • why would it still need an invisible shield after you just scratched it?

  • remember guys, when passing the phone back to your friend, don't do this!

  • Well thats funny because the same thing happened to my s2 and there was only one very very minor scratch.

  • i thought i would se a real gorilla on a glass...

  • The fact that you're promoting a product makes this experiment biased.

  • Mate..the glass was scratched already...no wonder the screen closeup was after test and not before it...u cheeky face queer..

  • fake and gay

  • I died of laughting how you threw the phone...

  • No doubt Zagg's invisible shield is impressive, but it seems like they got a little desperate.

If I drop my phone as the video showed, I must have fallen face first while making a call or something. I'd be more worried about my own injury.

Had my N8 for 8 months. Put in pocket with keys and coins, drop it twice on the tarmac. Yes body scratched, but glass scratch-less.

Sorry but 9 out of 10 gorilla glass phones will never need invisible shield, unless it only cost like 5 dollars each.

  • @rollakid

Zagg have indeed gotten desperate. I like these protective shields also, but their videos are complete crap. Does this phone even have gorilla glass, or is it some cheap dummy plastic screen phone like most of the other videos, or possibly scratched before. They even have a fake video of a 'leaked' iPhone 5 and another probably fake camper.

Seeing this crap, I would take my business elsewhere. There are other's that sell similar shields besides Zagg

  • @wtfisausername9999

I watched some other Zagg's videos after this one. Really now, they put devices through situations that doesn't make sense. They might as well sell radiation suits to farmers.

Maybe I don't live in USA, or don't quite get the consumerism mentality, or I just don't like marketing that twists the reality in the name of business (I'm an engineer). I prefer something honest and straight forward.. hope Zagg will try harder...

  • But... will it blend?

  • the twist at the end is funny!

  • thats not normal situation.... who slide there phone on the ground.. you have to drop in down stairs duh lol

  • gorilla glass is a gimmick. it feels nicer than other glass but it scratches the same

  • The gorilla glass is resistant to crack not scratches...You need a shield to prevent scratches

  • I like how he gives it a little twist at the end for good measure before lifting it up.

  • Yes, yes it does scratch. Stupid marketing. Keys scratched mine, walking to the shops.

  • I rahter use Godzilla Glass X :D its made of 100% bulletproof Glass

  • whatever it's stronger than other glasses. isn't it?

  • Samsung Galaxy S3 will have the King Kong glass

  • @jaysong87 the Samsung Galaxy S4 will have the Godzilla glass

  • @jaysong87 lol

  • @jaysong87 bitch please. its all about godzilla glass.

  • @quachingducks no u.

  • @quachingducks No actually they are skipping the monkey-glass series completely. Now it's all about the Honey Badger Glass. They use that stuff on the outside of space shuttles entering the earths atmosphere.

  • @OPBjorn damn, that sounds hella good.

  • look at the small stone above the phone when he clean it

it moved by itself .. me must be a magician to do that

first .. scratch the gorilla glass

    then move the stone

    :D

  • @ModevX that was definitely a leaf.

  • He switched knives when cleaning it

  • ПИЗДЕЦ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Samsung s2 test, gorila glass

    youtube.com/watch?v=WCVjANWWo0U

  • Actually, you never see the tests for Gorilla glass using concrete. Concrete and substances made of a harder material that Gorilla Glass will scratch it, however metal things (like keys) won't. So sand, concrete, tarmac, flint and so on will scratch it, this isn't a dumy phone.

  • @nicholasjames999 actually keys are the number one thing that scratch this BS screen

  • Comment removed

  • NO WAY THAT IS GORILLA GLASS.... SIMPLY NO WAY... THESE PEOPLE ARE LYING... SEE MY PROFILE VIDEO

  • Did he scratch that screen before he did the test??

  • Zagg and others like ghost armor are shitting bricks now that Gorilla Glass is being used on phones. So they make videos with phones where they have clearly replaced the screen with something inferior or using a dummy phone.

Gorilla Glass is proven and tested in labs... In another video there is a person who takes a knife to the phone and not a single scratch.

    This video is complete bullshit

  • @006969123 Yea ZAGG is full of shit!!!! i don't know why people still even buy their shitty ass product. ITS FUCKING PLASTIC!!! YOU IDIOTS!!! and do some research before buying this POS.! many new and high-end devices have Gorilla GLASS!!! n its AMAZING

  • Comment removed

  • Lol not gorilla glass I have a dell streak 7 woth gorilla glass does not scratch easy at all

  • lies!

  • But will it blend?

  • unfortunately, the captivate doesn't come with gorilla glass.

Just Galaxy S I9000 that comes with gorilla glass

  • kurwa popękane jest a ty o rysach mówisz!

  • id rather buy Plexi Ape

  • wow this little bitch applied pressure and rotated the screen on the concrete before picking it up @ 0:18 .

  • @Dmw034

or he just was trying to pick it up and it turned a little tiny bit

which even if he did it is completely irrelevant considering that the scratches are not swirled.

  • @Dmw034 LOL

  • @Dmw034 looks like it.

  • Yeah... i was using my Phone as a Skateboard too... That was a normal situation.

  • Umm whats with the gravel in the pavement? Staged?

  • Dude I totaly saw the scratches BEFORE the test

  • so fake..

  • But Will it Bl..... Shut the fuck up?!!!

  • Check out @ 0.10 the scratch marks on the side of that samsung Thumbup if you can clearly see this guy is a sham. Oh yeah dont forget to thumbdown the video. xD

  • I have to say that the out side of the phone was scratch before the test if you pause it at or 5 sec then open the vid it a different window and pause at 35sec you can see the outside of the phone, they really must have been trying to scratch it lol

  • This is fake

  • So much for all their claims, I'll keep using my $2 screen protector which is much cheaper to replace

  • did you know, you could buy that same shield stuff in bulk for like 5 bucks and put it on your self. not to mention you'll have like 10 yards of the stuff. car shops use that same material to put on the outside of windows

  • How about put the ZAGG;s screen protector to test by gorilla glass?

  • i saw one!

  • i see one!

  • Gorilla Glass is not meant to protect from scratches but from cracks and breaks.

  • @tore1992 I'm using the G'zOne commando.. maybe someone should do an extreme test.. you know.. not softly drop it. Throw it.. find the limits.. ha

  • Not even kingkong can't scratch that glass

  • @Fataleschijt Not even the biggest Gorilla??? LOL

  • You can see the Video at 720p... All the Scratches are present in the phone at the beginning, he is not showing that in detail. THIS IS FAKE. Gorila Glass doesnt scratch so easily.

  • Now can I see an unbiased review?

  • Gz, now, go get a new one

  • só a tela q nao arranhou... o resto!!! kkkk

  • This is funny captivate don't even have gorilla glass.....lmaooo u a fucking jerk and screen protectors ruin the image of the screen......fuck zagg

  • This was funny how they bashed gorrila glass

  • Ahi si revisan tiene dos rayones grandes. Yo la verdad no confio en gorilla glass tengo el gslaxy s2 wuince dias de uso y yatiene un pequeño rayon en la pantalla

  • lol if you phone slide like that when it fall then you need to be a moran i never fall like that and slide so much it was like 1-2 meters lmao

  • @RDilus Actually if a person drops something when walking, they can run the risk of it hitting their foot which can send it sliding like that. Also nice irony there "moran".

  • Will it blend?

  • I bought an invisible sheild and I wasn't very happy with it. I removed it after a few days. The problem I found was my finger sticking to the screen instead of gliding. Since I removed the screen protector which I had from new, I have enjoyed my Galaxy S2 again.

  • 'i noticed a few things here. one, the phone from the beginning was already a lil scratched up, two you can see when he goes to pick up the phone he gives it one last push against a rock, or little piece of gravel then gives his buddy to his right at 0:22 a look like "yeah that good? " and three, there are barely any scratches, most of the damage is on the plastic casing around the glass.

zagg is always making these stupid videos.

  • and we need to prove that this device have the real glass that came with

for e.g when u repair broken screen they replace not original one

  • I've been reading about the gorilla glass and from what i have read the captivate doesn't have gorilla glass

  • fake

  • @da4kinov now how is it fake?did he use special effects on the video to make it look like he slid it on the ground?

  • Comment removed

  • un breakble? check this video nake is Samsung Galaxy S Gorilla Glass demo -- Korean style this guy realy did a test also break the gorrilla glass

  • I heard that only a gorilla can scratch gorilla glass........

  • screen protectors ruin image quality. And why would i slide my phone over the road ? My SGS screen holds up perfectly after a year

  • she have a very big and longer scratch

  • The Samsuck Galaxy use FAKE chinese gorilla glass. Real Gorilla glass such as those used in Sonim would not scratch.

  • @Sassymui8 Everyone knows Samsung use fake gorill glass, whats ur point?

  • @Asiats1 Your mom is fake.

  • Any type of GLASS can be scratched, including Gorila Glass.

Remember that in the ground there's grains of many minerals harder than GLASS.

A harder material can scratch a softer one.

So Gorila Glass can be harder than iron, steel, nails an etc, but softer than some quartz or other mineral grain in the ground.

Only Motorola AURA dislay can't be scratched, because his display is made of SAPHIRE(its corundum really, its non-preciuos variation), and only DIAMOND can scratch it.

  • So, remember kids, don't use your phone as a sled. It might scratch your screen!!

  • Maybe they laid a ZAGG invisibleSHIELD on the phone before scratch test it, it is invisible rite, nobody will know. So actually it was the invisibleSHIELD that is scratched.

  • @yeorensheng it actually would be noticeable by the sound it makes when you drop it

  • So wait does gorilla glass do anything?

  • can u guys please just forbid comments and delete all comments ever made for this vid? 95% of all people who watched this vid seem to be stupid, pls forbid comments, cant read such a shit.....

  • I have a strange hunch there is something wacky about this. I mean, take a look at the beginning of the video (9-12 seconds in) when the camera comes in close to the phone. You can already see the sides of the phone around the Glass is totally scratched. So that alone tells me that this phone has already been put through the ringer (this is a testament of just how strong Gorilla Glass is). I own the captivate, and I've dropped it a lot hard then this, and I didn't get any scratches.

  • You didn't even show how it looked BEFORE you did the scratch test... I've registered this as debunked.

  • Don't know if this is real.

But I have mounted an invisibleSHIELD on my Iphone more than a year ago and it is still on it and the phone is in perfect condition.

  • The company the MAKES SCREEN PROTECTORS has a video of it scratching. Why am I not surprised? I highly doubt this is a fair and valid test.

  • Comment removed

  • How are we supposed to know if thats even a real phone.... in the test with the invisibleSHIELD on it, you used a fake...

  • Gorilla glass is nothing compared to orangutan plastic

  • @exonei xD you`re right

  • @exonei Haha, best comment i read this month, haha very hilarious

  • So unless you added that yourself, the Captivate doesn't have Gorilla Glass.

  • Are you sure that gorilla glass can be scratched? If you are sure let me make a video with my Nokia N8 with gorilla glass to show you if can be scratched.

  • It scratches because there are many different minerals in the outside environment(especially in pavement/concrete) that are harder than the hardest glass, it will scratch. It will not scratch with metal or anything else that may be found in your pocket/bag.

  • เอามาให้กุใช้ดีกว่า 555+

  • this guy drops the phone from 2 inches off the ground, who the hell is short enough to drop it from that distance?

  • @OSCAR7893 you drop it and it slides off your shoe. Na na nuh boo boo, stick your head in doo doo.

  • @Slyboogy07 are you fucking retarded?

  • @OSCAR7893 lol, have you never seen Tosh.0? lol fucking live under a rock or something.
