For this being a beginner video, you did really great. Sure, there's a lot of noticeable flaws, but major props for creativity. You can definitely see the love put into making this.

bit of friendly advice about your masking, go to Sannex7's page and find her video 'are you masking correctly?' it'll help make your maskings not look so jumpy :)

I'll do my best to explain what I did... even though I'm pretty sure it was dumb luck. lol
I used Sony Vegas 7.0 though, so it's probably a little different. After I masked, I just went over to the side of the little masking screen, and I chose the option to say "both" and then I feathered it to about 9 or 10.
... Yeah I know that didn't make much sense lol I'm sure they're are tutorials for SV8 on youtube though. That's how I learned it.
Oh wait! Did you mean the little reversed part? Lol I just suddenly remembered that there was a part in "Sanctuary" where something was reversed... So I reversed it to know what it sounded like, and just decided to leave it there. XD

but i think theres too much movement, the songs a slow love song, lots of movement doesn't mix
