The purpose of the video was to bring our friends together to collectively work on a music project that promotes a positive message (i.e. read the lyrics of the song if you haven't done so). It was not to make Asian singers look good or bad.

A sample of 27 amateurs does not accurately represent a country with a population of 1,321,851,888 (not counting people from TW, HK, SG, etc).

we donno where to get the piano score; we kinda figured out most of it by ear (as far as piano goes, it's pretty simple);

I think it's awesome that you guys did this. You really feel the friendship. Sorry to say. Not all of you can sing. But I give you 10 for effort. The video was great, but it would be better if some of you actually looked at the camera when you sing, as oppose to closing your eyes all the time. You should also find more compatible voices for parts where guys and girls sing together.

We took whoever was interested and tried to give them parts that seemed to fit best.

We tried to make people look as natural as possible; for some, that meant closing their eyes the entire time.

If we had more interested friends, perhaps we could've found more compatible voices for the duets. Also, I made the mistake of forcing most people to record together, which is much harder than recording separately.

I want to thank you both our directors, editors, and producer for they are two very hard working fellows. Also thank you all that has taken time to comment on our video. It is very encouraging. Many of us has close to no singing experience, and we were improving while making this video (including myself). Yeah, most don't sing, a few were in choir and I think only two people had some introductory lessons in singing.

Obviously, we could've sought out people who sang better, BUT that was NOT the point of this project.

Ultimately, the number one reason I started this project, was because I missed the collaborative effort of participating in a symphonic Band and the joy it brought me in working together to perform a song that made people happy.
