However, in coverting 80,000 euros to U.S. dollars, it comes to over $119,000. And I can't help but question the practicality of the decision.
Color me a skeptic; Gregor better hope that No Limits doesn't go under.

I enjoy watching the Mann brothers, but... I'd prefer to see Chris & Olli.
Similarly, I'm grateful to have this episode, but... In my opinion, the plot with Grgegor & helicopter is almost as weak as the plot from long ago with Olivia & the kidnapping ransom.
So nice to see that much of Christian, even if Olli isn't around. I like the tension between him and Gregor - should be interesting when it comes to a head.

Jo Weil has been back on set shooting scenes for a couple weeks. I'd expect him back by the end of December (hopefully in time for a Christmas reunion?) and a storyline for Christian and Olli starting in mid-January.
Mind you, these are just estimates. Das Erste knows that they've become an international success and has become tight-lipped about posting plot summaries for Christian and Olli.

I love seeing Christian and Gregor interacting without other folks. They are very close brothers and even if they bicker, they always have each others' best interests at heart. It's beautiful to see. Better to have a brother who buds into your life all the time because he loves and wants to protect you than a brother who's indifferent to you. They really have each others back, even when they disagree and they balance each other out. Thanks for subbing this part of the storyline. It's a joy.
Oh Dear.... the story is getting really weak... I guess at least we have Christian and Gregor (gorgeous as ever) on....
I suspect that we are walking towards the end of the boy's storyline... i'll be sooooo sad when that comes about. I guess it's inevitable with the actors being noticed for such good acting and wanting to pursue something else that pay them more. Nana and Ivan, it's your fault, actually! Why did you have to get us all hooked on them like this? Love you both for it though... :)
What I think might happen: The old guy realizes how serious Gregor is about the helicopter and what it means to him and either gives it to him outright or lets him have it for a nominal fee.
Bad idea Gregor!! Christian is much more mature than Gregor in so many ways. Yes...Gregor is a great big brother but somehow Christian comes across as the more smarter of the two.
i love you gregor but your insane risking your business and your whole life savings on an overpriced old helicopter that you may never be able to restore, i understand sometimes in life you have to risk it and take a chance but im with christian on this one, i think its a bad idea

VL airs Monday - Fridays but as there are a lot of characters and a lot of different story lines on the show it sometimes takes several days till a story gets continued.

I am torn here, I do believe that Gregor needs to get a focus in life, but on the other hand I don't blame Christian for wanting to protect no limits as it is their income and place to live. I wish Gregor could do this without involving No limits but I guess he can't and we all know in soap world that when you put everything into something the SOAP GODS, then get to smack you around. SO i am going to hope that Gregor is successful and they still have a place to live when he is done.
It's rather sad to see Christian be unsupportive of Gregor's dream to fly, particularly after Gregor worked so hard to support Christian's dream of being a boxer, but I think Christian is worried about his brother's impulsive behavior. After divorcing Sarah, he had flings with several women and then reluctantly dated Rebecca, only for her to leave.
The brotherly bond between them is very believable -- they bicker often and can grate on each other's nerves, but they're still supportive.
Christian is being realistic. Gregor cannot fly anymore, because after his accident there's something wrong with his eyes. So unless Leonard finds more of those magic plasters, Gregor won't be able to fly the helicopter. He could fix it and sell it to some collector, but right now it looks like he just wants to own it.
I feel so strange thinking this...but I like Gregor and Sebastian from the first time that Sebastian had entered the series...

I've watched several episodes of Geoff & Pavel. In some ways it's sweet, but in many ways it's disturbing.
Nothing compares with Ollian, especially when Chris and Olli are both in it.

I agree with you about RAW's stupid drug scenes-esp. when Pavel clearly states he does NOT want to take them. WHY do people think it's funny or cute? I know lots who've had their lives ruined-even died from drugs. Yep, Ollian still rules. Jo's return will be amazing.

Let me see here... (looking in production notes)... 1. Gregor takes out loan. 2. Gregor looses "No Limits" to bank in loan default. 3. Gregor becomes a gigolo to earn the money to get "No Limits" back.

Thank you, Nanna and Paul! I've already watched these on Ivan's channel (thanks Ivan), and even managed to figure out what was going on through my limited German and context clues, but it's so much funnier with the subtitles. I love knowing what they're actually saying, so thanks again!

Jo Weil has been back on set shooting scenes for a couple weeks. I'd expect him back by the end of December (hopefully in time for a Christmas reunion?) and a storyline for Christian and Olli starting in mid-January.
Mind you, these are just estimates. Das Erste knows that they've become an international success and has become tight-lipped about posting plot summaries for Christian and Olli.

I love seeing Christian and Gregor interacting without other folks. They are very close brothers and even if they bicker, they always have each others' best interests at heart. It's beautiful to see. Better to have a brother who buds into your life all the time because he loves and wants to protect you than a brother who's indifferent to you. They really have each others back, even when they disagree and they balance each other out. Thanks for subbing this part of the storyline. It's a joy.

Oh Dear.... the story is getting really weak... I guess at least we have Christian and Gregor (gorgeous as ever) on....
I suspect that we are walking towards the end of the boy's storyline... i'll be sooooo sad when that comes about. I guess it's inevitable with the actors being noticed for such good acting and wanting to pursue something else that pay them more. Nana and Ivan, it's your fault, actually! Why did you have to get us all hooked on them like this? Love you both for it though... :)

Bad idea Gregor!! Christian is much more mature than Gregor in so many ways. Yes...Gregor is a great big brother but somehow Christian comes across as the more smarter of the two.

VL airs Monday - Fridays but as there are a lot of characters and a lot of different story lines on the show it sometimes takes several days till a story gets continued.

I am torn here, I do believe that Gregor needs to get a focus in life, but on the other hand I don't blame Christian for wanting to protect no limits as it is their income and place to live. I wish Gregor could do this without involving No limits but I guess he can't and we all know in soap world that when you put everything into something the SOAP GODS, then get to smack you around. SO i am going to hope that Gregor is successful and they still have a place to live when he is done.

It's rather sad to see Christian be unsupportive of Gregor's dream to fly, particularly after Gregor worked so hard to support Christian's dream of being a boxer, but I think Christian is worried about his brother's impulsive behavior. After divorcing Sarah, he had flings with several women and then reluctantly dated Rebecca, only for her to leave.
The brotherly bond between them is very believable -- they bicker often and can grate on each other's nerves, but they're still supportive.

Christian is being realistic. Gregor cannot fly anymore, because after his accident there's something wrong with his eyes. So unless Leonard finds more of those magic plasters, Gregor won't be able to fly the helicopter. He could fix it and sell it to some collector, but right now it looks like he just wants to own it.
