i use to look up to him and david dejesus so much growing up as a little kid, and i miss these guys in kc and its a damn shame there gone now, david dejesus and mike sweeney are future royals hall of famers and maybe even cooperstown bound, outstanding players and players with great character which is hard to find in the game today
Mike Sweeney is a good family friend of mine and I have only one thing to say... You will never in a million years, find a better person, on or off the field.
He is a true family, and a man of God. All you have to do is talk to him for 5 minutes, and you will see how amazing this man is. I am truly thankful for every moment that my family and I have been able to spend with him.
He is a true role model and i know I will look up to him for guidance my entire life.
