He is such an amazing drummer and musician but he's also an amazing engineer. He gets the best drum sounds in the business. Whether he's in the studio or at a show. Unbelievable.
@pchop00 Weckl is one of best for sure! I still give the edge to Chambers though. Just a personal preference. All three respect and admire each other so in the end I do too. Aren't we blessed to be able to enjoy such virtuoso drummers? Man, these guys are incredible !
dave weckl is the drum machine. i saw him live and thought i couldnt trust my eyes. someone pushed the fast forward button that evening. he´s a phenomenon in music like tony hawk is in skateboarding. UNBELIEVABLE.
I've seen dozens of Weckl videos, and they never get old!

He's got guys like Coliauta and Chambers nipping at his heels, but I still think Weckl is the finest drummer on the planet!
