Warwick Castle - Jousting @ Sunset

guys the shields are made of metal due to the health and safe people being in a tizzy over everything, the shields in medieval times would of been made of wood coverd by leather (and the leather making was pretty disgusting even after the skinning), and they would of put anything from wool to rope (not much to back it up but would of been used until they had something better when you think about it) to protect them from the wood beating your arm to a pulp and anythings better then that

I love this castle and have been there a few times it allways seems like there is something new there each time.
