I would like to see the touchstone plugged in through the car charger, in a car. Then, stick the dock on your dash, it should stick with the gecko feet thing. And than see if the magnet is strong enough to actually keep the whole thing there. That would be awesome, I have no need for this in my home but it would it would awesome in my car. MAKE A VIDEO SHOWING THIS! :)

Really? How is this informative? How is this guy working for phonedog? No offense, but why didn't you touch on the fact that the wireless charger is made w/ gecko feet technology and it sticks to almost anything. That's a neat fact. Also, how did you miss 5:17 ? In a huge easy to read diagram, NOT for use connected to computer. ONLY connect to a wall outlet.

This would have been a great idea and worth $70 if you could charge the Touchstone up itself and take it with you and use it to charge your phone without having to have access to a wall outlet. But, this is just boring and so not worth the money or the time it takes to charge your phone. I mean really what's the point? It has to be plug into an electrical outlet anyway, so why would you use it over the regular charger when the regular charger gets the job done faster?

Because you plug the wireless charger in *once*. Then you come home every day and just sit your Pre down on it, and pick it up when you're ready to go.

The alternative is having to pop open a cover on your phone and plug a charger into it, and then unplugging it and having the cord slide off the desk or wedging it under something.

I think it's a little pricey, but at <$40 I'd grab it in a heart beat for the day in, day out convenience.

I hope there would be a way to disable the auto answer when it is attached to the touchstone charger. If I'm asleep, last thing I want is to reach for the phone to see who it is and accidentally answer when I don't want to!

I have one and the battery life is CRAP! It takes like 1-2 hours to get it down to 50%... Both ways of charging are slow either just Micro USB and Touchstone... takes nearly and hour and a half to get full charge!

I think with sprint you just pay $100 a month for unlimited everything. But you can lower it with the amount of minutes you use. Like if you only use 450 minutes a month than it will be $70. I think that is how it works. Look on sprint website. They lay it out so it is pretty simple.

The bad thing I hear about Pre is the battery life, but if you turn off bluetooth and wi-fi (ev-do, roaming or not, is fine)... or buy an extended battery from seidio (coming out soon)...

Or just wait it out to see more reviews and further updates.

Sorry if I made it seem like the Pre has problems, cause it doesn't. When compared to other phones, the positives HEAVILY outweigh the negatives.

I was just saying he could wait until the WebOS gets more updates, because the Pre JUST came out... and like every phone (including the infamous Iphone), the Pre needs refining.

Infact, their first update to 1.0.2, fixed many bugs and included a Clock App.

I hope to see more of those kinds of updates.

I'll be getting my Pre tomorrow (my dad has one).

I would only buy it if it had full charging speed and data sync. Also It should be able to plug into the computer. If anything there could be one cord that runs to the wall for power and one that runs to the computer for data.

the rip off on the car chargers is that the data cable is SO short.. it hardly reaches from the car accessory port up to my ear.. and my port is located smack dab in the middle of the console.. totally ridiculous especially considering it's $30.. firstly.. it cost $30 in the first place.. THEY should have sprung for a longer cable.. secondly, it won't be OEM.. cheesey.. Besides, how do you go and sell the recommended car charger with a short ass data cable.. I don't know.. Another cool thing is when talking, placing the pre on the touchstone will convert to speakerphone so you can continue your conversation. When you pick it up, it switches back. At least this is what I've heard.
