One of my all-time favorites, from one of the heaviest bands ever to walk the earth. And from the RAH show too, hard to find. Thanks for posting this gem!
Cream was powered by Gibson & Marshall - talk about electric music - that's what I loved about them, there were no acoustic instruments (mostly) nothing but pure electricity, at high volume and high intensity - & Clapton can really stretch out on the slow blues - just the best!
Great version! Eric is on fire!! And I've always loved Jack's stuff. Probably the most underrated artist ever. The man is a GENIUS. Imagine being one of the lucky ones who where at this concert!!!
There is a live video as that I would upload but, cannot find. Great comments everyone. Classic raw rock back in the hey-day. Amazing, NO studio monitors, flashy pa's, foot pedals that ran across the stage. I love the sound of the Gibson hollow body ES335? playing through the Marshall 100 series.. The louder the better the hollow-body and comes alive. Also, remember this was 42 years ago.
