  • just watched the doco "Australia: Land of Parrots" and was introduced to the Palm Cockatoo...love them, "HELLO, hows about I 'drum' for you". These cockatoos make me proud to be aussie

  • The Palm Cockatoo is an amazing bird. Queen Victoria had one apparently. I think they do look kinda Goth, don't they. I would so love to have one.  xxxxxx

  • I taped the whole 'Land of parrots' film on ABC last week. NOT DUBBED since it's an Aussie production. (yay!). It's so good! I just adore Palm cockies! (well actually I love all birds, but the Palm cockatoo is so intriguing!)

  • This PBS Show was FANTASTIC!!! A MUST-WATCH for all Parrot Owners/Lovers! Amazing to see FLOCKS of some 30,000 Cockatoos! That's how they are supposed to live...NOT in our cages with their wings clipped...
