You people act like smoking weed has the same effect as smoking crack or doing heroin. I smoke A LOT of medical and I'm not stupid; I can have perfectly normal conversations and pay attention. All I'm saying is pot heads are of no threat and people still look down upon them; just enjoy the music
@sk8r421dc i am a smoker also.....you may not realize it, but your memory does weaken.....it doesnt affect convorsations or things of this nature but you do tend to forget things
Why are so many people who comment on Tool videos stoners? Can't they enjoy the music without the drugs or something? Cause I know I can, Tool fucking rock!
@CharSaysRawr I don't mind stoners, they're funny. Except my roommate, he's got a memory span of a retarded fish, which is saying a lot.
I do enjoy music and other things on a daily basis. Me doing drugs is a very rare thing. But I listen to Tool because I just love them, and being high while listening is just beyond comparison.
@Lluminari I have an ex friend thats exactly like your roomie. Believe me dude, sometimes there is a limit. Im no tool, but i listen to Tool. theres a big difference between the line lol. I was raised on korn, tool, etc. since i was a 90s kid. But ill tell you one thing, since im veering off track a little, and thats the fact that Pot never got me anywhere, and im glad my girl pulled me out of it, cuz i used to sit there blown out of my small mind and listen to this song and animal collective.
@Lluminari Come on being high means u r having pot, it's not being on drugs, it is not even comparable to being on real drugs!!! Anyway i totally agree on your statement about being high while listening to tool :D
@CharSaysRawr "See, I think drugs have done some *good* things for us, I really do. And if you don’t believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a Favor: go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your cd’s and burn em’. 'Cause you know what? The musicians who’ve made all that great music that’s enhanced your lives throughout the years...
@CharSaysRawr AMEN Brother. thank you. It is too rare that I read Tool video comments, to find something that is so intelligent as what you said. Amen. Just awesome music.
shame they had to use such an awesome song on a captain america trailer, get ready for swarming comments from people who only know the song from the the trailer for that crappy movie
@Fantabanubbus Don't see what's wrong with more tool fans. I'm a big fan of tool, but had somehow missed this song. The captain america trailer brought it to my attention again.
@Fantabanubbus Don't see what's wrong with more tool fans. I'm a big fan of tool, but had somehow missed this song. The captain america trailer brought it to my attention again.
Anyway, the song made perfect sense for the trailer. What with boit being about the next step of evolution and that...
i guess the song kinda makes sense with the movie, but i don't expect the movie to be worth watching, so i was disapointed when one of my favourite songs was on a trailer for i movie that i think looks bad. (i'm not a fan of the disneyXmarvel thing)
and new people who first hear the song from a trailer always bring stupid arguments that clog the comments, it happened with "welcome home" and 9, and it's probably gonna happen here
You see, I'm kind of glad they put an awesome song to a crap film with 9, because otherwise I'd never have discovered welcome home. Not being a huge coheed and cambria fan, it brought a cool song to the limelight I would otherwise have ignored. (and you must admit, welcome home is an EPIC song. You could put it in a trailer to anything and it would make it look good.
@Fantabanubbus Crappy movie? I thought it was really good actually. And all putting it in the trailer doing is doing is showing more people this amazing music. But the rest of us know this song because it's tool, and there is nothing better than tool.
i think now that disney bought marvel they're making too many movies without putting enough effort into them, so when i heard they were making captain america, i'm not expecting it to be watchable.
thankfully however only one video for this song i've seen has "thumbs up if you..." or a "everyone who disliked is a..." comment
@KingProgdor There's a lot of weird fans out there, I'll admit.
What I personally love about Tool is their heart. They put their heart into everything and it shows. They don't sing about love lost or wanting a girl or partying all the time...they're artists. They love what they do and they keep it interesting.
I feel they're the best in what they do, not a lot of bands can compete.
@Lluminari I love Aenima, and I also love Lateralus. I just don't see them as the second coming of the messiah the way that a lot of the rabid fans do. Being a fan of classic bands like King Crimson and Van der Graaf Generator, I find them much more mentally stimulating and technically challenging than music like this. I do, however, find that Tool has intellectual charm all its own, but not to the point of being revered.
WARNING: WATCHING AND HEARING THE DRUM SOLO WHILST AFFECTED BY ANY FORM OF HALLUCINOGENIC DRUG MAY LEAD TO THE FOLLOWING: nausea, vomiting in strange colors, fixation of an "epic face", jizzed pants, an out-of-body experience, mindf**king, and/or dying and having your soul imbued within Danny's drum set.
Wuss!!! I would definitely watch trippin on whatever! No problems either! Guaranteed! If I still did that stufff that is... you've just got to listen to the message brother. Soak it all the way in and don't fight it. That's the whole secret.
great vid and i love the art but i do not recomend if ur watching if ur tripping on shrooms , watched a vid similiar to this and my trip spireled completley outta control took over 2 hrsto come back to reality. but truly an amazing vid and song otherwise !
@Lluminari hell ya acids more powerful with tool that shit will get me stuck for hours but i love those outta control trips but really sets it off cuz tool always has such a dark undertone is to go make a fire and fuckin watch it with the music video and the song playin it turns the whole world into straight chaos lol

the Carl Jung Archetypes
the shadow : your inner beast, chaos, wildness
the anima : male soul , true self
the animus : female soul, true self
the self : God , the universal connection
and there are other archetypes in Jungian theory mostly stemming from these main ones .

Nah, I really can't take credit. It's all out there, I just put it together.
Really glad I got somebody into this kind of music. It's quite amazing. If the artwork looks cool you can click on the links in the information panel.
As a bonus, I took the time to convert it to 1080p. It takes a couple hour, but I love the art so much I figured it was worth it.
Feedback is always appreciated, my friend! L.
