I am by no means great, but learning f2l decreased my time majorly. And also, i only learned a few Olls. The easiest way, is to learn only the ones that occur when you ahve a cross. So do the cross, and then use the olls for the cross. then learn pll's.
And also what I mean by memorization, is memorize 1 or 2 PLLs and 2-Look OLLs everynight before you go to bed that way it triggers it in your mind and not forget and try remember your algorithms FAST like you don't even know the algorithm.
So for memorization of the algorithms, look up badmephisto's, MeMyselfandPI, and Robs' F2L videos first before attempting OLLs and PLLs. NOTE: DON'T LEARN THE FULL OLL YET WHICH REQUIRES 57 OLLs and PLLs are easy only requires 21 algorithms.
Nice job! Here is a tip, to learned the Rubik's cube even more insanely faster WITHOUT REPEATING ANY ALGORITHMS, just follow this, look up F2L (First 2 Layers), then 2-Look OLL (Orientation of Last Layer), then 2-Look PLL (Permutation of Last Layer). 2-Look OLL is when you get the top cross done, then on 2nd Look you get the whole face done. Then once you do that, you need to permute the last layer, meaning getting them in the correct place.
We have the same cube dude!

By 2-Look algorithms makes cubing a whole lot more easier, I promise you
