My name is Nathan Joseph... back at the start of my music career I made this track at Crib Studios for Global Grooves in 1994.... I think they paid me the underwhelming sum of £150 to do it, then they flogged THOUSANDS of copies over the next year countrywide and coined it in. I never got another penny. Ah... that's life.
During the same period I also wrote as Subculture (TV HEAVEN), and as Air Tattoo (SYNAESTHESIA). Find these on Youtube. Earlier I recorded as Vibe Tribe, and Global Method.
ah man what a fuken classic i cant believe i forgot all about this track for years until now. y dont they make music like dis anymore its all samples dees days thank god i was 17 in those days to live through the sounds as they were happening
@jimlorkar !00% right mate. I haven't done any pills for over 15 years, when THAT piano riff comes in at 2.39 I swear I felt a rush... What a simply fantastic tune, HAPPY DAYS, lost forever - but never forgotten.
to me this was what dance music about, the big lift in the middle, piano and banging bass. my god im 36 and i would up everything for one night of those little white doves of joy.
My name is Nathan Joseph... back at the start of my music career I made this remix at Crib Studios for Global Grooves in 1992.... I think they paid me the princely sum of £150 to do it, then calmly flogged about 30,000 copies over the next year countrywide and coined it in. I never got another penny. That's life.
During the same period I also wrote as Subculture (TV HEAVEN), and as Air Tattoo (SYNAESTHESIA). Find these on Youtube.
@stuporstar Man you wrote some of the all time classics :o the intro to TV Heaven still rises the senses to this day. Big up. It mightnt be the same as financial reward but these tunes have given me and my friends some of the most amazing memories, I say we aint the only ones either :)

I was like 3 years old when this came out haha:P Simply fantastic! tells me about the world where rave music meant something and people were into having a great night out without being bling and gay.. the same feeling as Leftfield - Not forgotten.
this track sounds much better when you play over the top of it with the accapella version from c&c music factory's keep it comin'. at the point of the 1st ohhh-yeaah as the beat kicks in begin it with the start of the lyrics " life can be so crazy".....it fits like a glove!!!

a personal fave - cheezy but played at the right time spot on and works a treat. While I'm not playing very much now, this is my end of nigh track (and has been for about a zillion years). first track on the flip is great funk too.
This track was around before cheese was invented though mate, so doesn't count. Same as all this old skool stuff really. Cheese wasn't invented until much later ;o) That's how I like to think of it anyway!
My goodness young man, you are showing your lack of age! Cheese has been around since cavemen first banged a couple of sticks together. There's plenty of 'old shcool' cheese out there too - no matter what type of music you're in to. House was no exception (just check out any early 90s compilation).
My point being that this track was cheesy because it was so feel-good - but it isn't cheese.
By the way, I've just figured out how to reply to your reply.

This track's what Progressive House was all about back in the day: The tracks actually DID progress!
First you get that rolling Depeche Mode electro bassline, then a total change into piano house then Sabres Of Paradise style trance!
Pity by the end of the century Progressive House had turned into a one bar loop for 10 minutes...
