  • This movie no longer applied to Ron Paul. He is not a good man nor are the others.

  • There needs to be drastic changes in our government but not the type that Ron Paul is offering because he is working for the 1% wealthy and against the best interest of the grassroots. Yes, I agree that the Fed must be abolished but I dont believe in Gold being the main money because most of the Gold is owned by the 1% and that will futher cause deflation like the great depression. The US Dollar must be printed by US Govt not a "private Fed Reserve Bank". That is my opinion.

  • I will vote for Obama, because the Government is not our enemy the Government is our friend. As an economist a lot of things that Obama does is right. The Fed needs not to be abolished but owned by Govt instead of being a private bank. As for the government it only needs to be fixed not abolished. Otherwise we will be ruled by a dictator elite wealthy class with no restrictions that will crush the grassroots level if we follow Ron Paul.

  • No other religion has been so specifically warned about the perils that face our constitutional republic. Because of this I hold Mormons to a higher standard of support for this founding document. I am so disappointed to notice that so many are willing to overlook Dr. Paul who is obviously the only one who truly supports and defends the constitution in the tradition of the founders among the present candidates for the nation's highest office.

  • He pimps white women and black women thats what a pimp does he's the devil and hitler send

Obama to cuba if he likes conunism but not America we want freedom

  • Obama is the longlegged Mac daddy

  • Well Obama needs to be impeached becasue hes the one who leads romeny to follow Satan and I want Obama gone he is evil telling romeny to repeal obamacare Ron pual is a better example than Obama tell romeny to disagree with obamacare and tell him to follow Ron pual and not obama thats why Romenys not ready yet he will get the opportunity after Ron pual and if he agrees with Ron pual I support him I just don't want him to follow Obama and do the same thing

  • Wonderful video! When I read Mosiah 29:25, in which King Mosiah instructs the people to choose judges who would judge them by the laws of their fathers, laws given them by the Lord, I am reminded to choose leaders who actively support and rule according to the Constitution. And when I read Exodus 18:21, in which Jethro instructs Moses to choose able (wise) men who fear God, are men of truth, and who hate covetousness, I know we can't just pick anyone to be our leaders.

    Ron Paul has it all.

  • Fuck your religious views.

  • @AtomicDonut22 Okay. Can I do that with you :/

  • @AtomicDonut22 Hey can I join the orgy with you with your religious views? I always have the courtesy to give a reach-around :/

FYI, I don't do that kind of stuff with my Christian Mormon religion

  • Mormonism is an interesting religion. It is almost like a type of Christianity that holds the Constitution as a divinely-inspired document. As such, serious Mormons are some of the most patriotic people in this country.

  • @ztSHOCK The Constitution will hang by a thread and the elders of Israel will save it. This is because we will be the only staff upon which a ruined Nation can lean on. Mormons are high civil and highly industrious

  • I'm no Mormon, but I uphold the First Amendment, and, though I may have my personal predispositions about the religion, I cannot, in good conscience, hold bias or prejudice to such a belief when it comes to politics. We need to protect and restore America to the way things once were and Ron Paul is the best, though not perfect, candidate to point us in the right direction.

  • Your Awsome!! Love the Video!

  • The blip at the end stated the church does not endorse political platforms... Like spending nearly $8,000,000 of members' tithes to try and stop homos in California from getting a piece of paper from the state saying that they are married.

  • @jlaurencew Although homosexuality may currently be a political issue, that does not change the fact that it is much more so a moral issue, just like murder, abortion, adultery etc. The church has always denounced homosexuality. Just because it has suddenly come under political scrutiny, does not mean that the church should just give up their standards on the issue. Any issue can be politicized; that does not change the fact that it is first and foremost a morally evil act.

  • @jlaurencew The church spent not one cent in tithing money. The church has more sources of income than pure tithing. And the church does not endorse political candidates. That doesn't mean it will back down from supporting moral causes, left or right. For example the church opposes homosexual marriage (a right wing view) but also not deporting illegals and making a path to citizenship for them (a left wing view) because both have to do with morality, (and in both cases families) not politics.

  • @jlaurencew Also, you inability to understand that marriage is a religious institution meant to be guided by churches not governments shows your fundamental failure in understanding others view on this subject. Indeed if homosexuals are willing to circumvent the will of the people in order to force changes in morality and family and religion on them, why is it a surprise that the guardians of those morals, and the people themselves, should have to resort to using the same force to resist?

  • @Cheshu1 Please cite the whole quote without taking it out of context please, Do you have the Doctrine of Salvations book?

  • @dirkhunter Cheshu1 won't listen to you, I already proved wrong many arguments he made, and I told him that he was quoting out of context, but he doesn't care. All he does is just sit there, and talk crap about anything that the doesn't like, so he could feel better, how bitter. Also, he can't explain slavery in the Old Testament, and he can't answer the questions I asked him. How Biased of him, but his platonic pagan god (from the ancient Greek though) won't make him smarter.

  • @TheSkepticChristian Yeah, I hear the crickets chirping.

  • @Cheshu1 Bruce R McConkie apologized for his quote in his earlier Edition of Mormon Doctrine, while he was a great Apostle of the Lord he wasn't without his mistakes, so was Peter when he denied Christ 3 times, apostles are not infallable.

  • @Cheshu1 Maybe you ought to do a little more research, It's not me that is being fooled. Joseph Smith didn't make that quote Elder Hyde made the quote not Joseph Smith. Take anything " out of context and anti-mormons can try to fool anyone, check it out, and do a little more research please.

  • @Cheshu1 This passage is undoubtedly figurative, but those looking for fault may choose to be offended. Similarly, Jeremiah apparently uses the word "black" to refer to an emotional state, not necessarily skin color (as some presume), when he says "For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me" (Jeremiah 8:21). These figurative usages for white and black need to be considered in interpreting Book of Mormon passages as well.

  • @Cheshu1 There is distinctions in the bible if we condemn the Book of Mormon for alleged racism due to possibly figurative passages suggesting that white is better than dark, then we must also condemn the Bible for similar failings. Daniel 12:10, speaks of the righteous being "made white," and Lamentations 4:6-8 equates whiteness with goodness (prior to a moral fall) and a black appearance with sin.

  • @Cheshu1 In the Book of Mormon the Black skin was a mark of the Lamanites wickedness it had nothing to do with it being unattractive, it was to separate those that were wicked from those that were good. Also, the orginal translation of the Book of Mormon on White and delightsome was not correct, Joseph Smith meant for it to be pure and delightsome.

  • @Cheshu1 He wasn't talking about "white man belongs to the CHOSEN SEED. He said that if a white man who is active in his church (CHOSEN SEED) mixes with the Negro, (forbidden by US Federal Govt to marry) then that person who mixed would have to be commiting fornification or adultry, which would mean they would be separated from God because of their sin (spiritual death). The church had no Death squads, if so, don't you think there would have been a record of this? Somewhere?

  • @Cheshu1 Well it doesn't sound like "death on the spot" sounds more like trying to uphold the law of the land. Which, like I stated earlier, it was forbidden for blacks to marry in the U.S. To mix seed would mean one was commiting Adultry or fornification, because blacks couldn't marry according to the law of the land.

  • @Cheshu1 Brigham Young was refering to an active member that has relations outside of marriage (at that time it was forbidden by law in the US for blacks to marry) and if that person had relations he would face a (spiritual death) not a physical one. Please know the context of the statements you post. Thank you.

  • I love Ron Paul! He is truly a good man:)

  • /watch?v=faZpekej3M0

  • @tlydoon008 most lds members will always defend the constitution. Dont believe any anti mormon propaganda...there is a lot of it out there. Im not active in the church but i do have a testimony of its Gospel in Christ, and I know I can do better in all things. But, I promise you in these uncertain times, Liberty for all Americans is what i will fight for till my dying breath. Its time the human race wakes up

  • "You and each of you do covenant and promise that you will pray and never cease to pray Almighty God to avenge the blood of the prophets upon this nation, and that you will teach the same to your children and to your children's children unto the third and fourth generation."

~Mormon Oath of Vengeance against America

Don't reply to me with questions..

    Look it up for yourself!!

  • Teriffic video. The only mistake is that George Washington never knelt when he prayed. It had something to do with ancient Christian tradition.

  • Sorry to say Ron Paul cant fix anything. Its too late now. Our country is dead not dying but DEAD. The vast majority of the American people are too lazy or too stupid to see this.

  • @cwood4ever you may be right, but ron paul is our only hope, he will educate our country more then any other canidate has the ability to, which if that doesnt save us now, it will undoubetly help our country in the long run. have more faith in our country.

  • @jacesk8ter123 Dont put your faith in Ron Paul, once he gets in he wont really do anything because he will either

    a) become corrupt and don't fix anything like everyone else who becomes president

b)actually try and fix something but be assassinated before anything major can be changed

    c) try and fix things but both the republicans and dems will veto everything and nothing will be fixed.

Put your faith in beans, bullets and bandages when hyperinflation hits you'll need it

  • @cwood4 i am not relying on Ron Paul to save america and i agree 100 % that we need indivudialy prepared, and your right, i beleive every president sence JFK has been corrupt or blind or greedy, and NO man can single handedly save out country. BUT.. what ron paul can do is educate the people to rely on themselves and NOT the government. HE CANT SAVE US BUT HE CAN OPEN THE EYES OF AMERICA AND REMIND US WHAT OUR FOUNDING FATHERS HAVE DONE AND TO GO BACK TO THE CONSTITUTION WHICH MADE AMERICA GREAT

  • @cwood4ever Are you saying that after 30 years of fighting tooth and nail for liberty, he'll just give it up? I won't put anyt dependence on the government, but if Paul has always fought to reduce the size and dependency of the people upon the government, he has my vote. Do you think people during the American Revolution said, "Oh well, I'll support the British because after the War, Congress will just become corrupt anyway"?

We just want him to remind us what made America great, the Constitut.

  • @masterskyrunner The founding fathers are a world different from the 21st century politician. Ron Paul will become like any other politician if he isn't assassinated before. He will have to repay the special interest groups that funded his campaign and he will start making compromises to stay in office another 4 years. He is no different that the others that went before him. They had great ideas and wanted to do many things but once they got in, bye bye honor. I trust no politician!

  • @cwood4ever How would being in the office of president be THAT much different than a Congressman? That he would abandon everything he has fought for over 30 years time? Ron Paul isn't wanted by the special interest, he is the most dangerous politician in their view. Unlike the presidents you mention, they have no record of them showing that sort of honor beforehand, they just talked. Ron Paul on the otherhand risked his reputation when he voted against the Civil Rights Act, he had honor to-cont.

  • @cwood4ever cont.-to know what was Constitutional, instead of voting with the flavor of the month, which most politicians do. Ron Paul has an adamant and incorruptable position which is that of liberty, and once liberty is firmly planted in someone's mind like it has in Paul's, he will be made incorruptable.

  • @masterskyrunner You have a lot of faith in a man. Too bad IF he wins nothing will change and you will be left stupefied going onto the next new "honest" politician. Don't put your faith in a man but in yourself and get your family ready for whats coming. Ron Paul will leave you like other politicians. But of course you're too brainwashed to really listen to me and you will most likely come up with some stupid comment in response only proving my point.

  • @cwood4ever No, I haven't placed all my faith in a man, however an advocate for liberty, like him and Gary Johnson, have my support, not obvious liars like Obama and Bush. I prepare my family, we have a food supply, we're paying off our debts becoming totally independent, etc. But that doesn't mean I would abandon fellow Libertarians in a Campaign for Liberty. I mean why do you think that automatically someone who is a popular candidate among concerned Americans is a corrupted puppet? cont.

  • @cwood4ever cont. Yes, I know HE can't save the US, as any government can't save their country simply because it is the people's obligation to save it for themselves. When we have a leader that has always been with the people's liberty in his convictions, votes, etc for his entire political career, unlike Bush, Obama, Clinton, etc. Though I do agree with you that Paul has a high chance of assassination, you are saying that the office of President is useless.

  • @cwood4ever At any rate, this election was never soley about winning, but spreading the message of liberty throughout the US, that others may take up arms with the campaign for liberty.

Even if he doesn't get elected he will still have won, because he brought so many people to the realization of how truly our nation is in trouble.

  • @cwood4ever /watch?v=vcbfobiHTCE&NR=1

Yeah, I'm sure he'll turn on the public.

  • @masterskyrunner and? I watched the video the doesnt mean anything. He hasnt been elected to be president yet nor did he win in the 80s. So whats your point? Thanks for proving mine.

  • @cwood4ever In the 1980's the third parties weren't very popular. My point is that there are decent politicians out there, they're rare, and many are to timid to run for President, but not all politicians are corrupt.

Anyway, Ron Paul doesn't need to win an election, he just needs to spread the message.

"Once an ideas time has come, no military or government force can be brought up to halt it." - Ron Paul

  • @ldsense let me guess you want mitt romney ? ron paul is an american hero And his policies would end the war have no illegal income tax!!!!! and stop the wasted spending on pot. Which hemp oil is a known to cure to being a retard like you. You put mormonism to shame!!

  • @dasani7998 this mormon is voting for ron paul, religion doesnt matter in politics.

  • @wcprocom Im mormon and I agree with him, Mitt doesnt respect the constitution, or even seem to really give a damn about it, while Church leaders express thier love for it as Godly inspirred.

  • @dasani7998 I am a Mormon and I support Ron Paul for President

  • @patton03Jeffrey Ron Paul? Are you fucking kidding me?

And for that thought you are going to Gay Mormon hell. Mormons are fucking insane. Anyone who teaches that you need 5 wives to get past the 3rd level of heaven is endangering everyone on earth today. Your views may bring the starvation of the planet.

    Your religions a joke.

and funny, the reach around joke. You proud of that? That just made you look fucking stupid.

  • @AtomicDonut22 I don't know where you are getting your information, but Mormons do not believe anything you said. You might want to do some more research. Make sure you go to the right sources next time:)

  • @yogzjones Do more research?

Ron paul is also sexist, and is for the bringing together of church and state, which is unconstitutional.

and it does say in the book of the mormon that god wants women to have five children, don't get smug and smart.

  • @AtomicDonut22 In what book, chapter, or verse? Also do you even understand what the original intent of church and state was from Jefferson? His original intent has been butchered over the years and perverted.

  • @jovanbiljon He's trolling. Don't get too bent out of shape, he's just here to bother you.

  • Nice video. I'm a Mormon, and I'm late to the game, but I now see Ron Paul is the best candidate for president who will fight for and defend the constitution.

  • MiTT Romney Will be PresiDent in 2013>>>

  • @FireYourJOB mitt romney is a a horrible mormon and has no back bone!!!! he cheated on his wife. Just because he is mormon! your brain washed ! and |I am mormon

  • @dasani7998

Well, never heard that he cheated on his wife

    Noooo I'm NoT brain washed........

  • Freedom and free agency is best gift god has given and mormons will defend this. The book of mormon talks alot of people trying to take away peoples freedoms and of course of LDs gospel but freedom is the key

I love ron paul cause of his views on freedom. I will fight to the death with members or those who want freedom if that is waht is being taken away

  • @ldsense

    1) What is a whore? Define it.

    2) How would RP's policy support that? It makes no sense? He doesn't even believe in welfare.

  • @ldsense

I hardly think you understand what Socialism means. That interview you posted was John Stossel's mini-doc on Ron Paul, BOTH of them (host & RP) are libertarians.

How does he sound like an 'atheist?' Because he doesn't mention 'God' every 5 seconds? You should look up the definition of atheism, it means to be without theology/religion.

And no... socialists and atheists on average aren't 'devil worshippers' and they aren't the same thing. Ones a political ideology.

  • RON PAUL FoR PREZ11111111111111111

  • @ldsense I somehow failed to find a whores and crackheads subsidy program. Perhaps you could help us out with a link.

  • Anti christs are rising ever more against the Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter day Saints. This dispensation. At some point for them to prevail, they will have to completely dismantle the Constitution to effectively DisMantle Christs Church.

Every priesthood Holder aught to know the constitution inside and out. Every wife sister aunt and mother should as well, to make sure their priesthood holder has his support.

Stand in Holy places. Haider has your back.

  • @haidermann1 no one talks about but what hitler did to the jews the blacks and the homos was just a test. Its going to be the killing on a mass scale of all the christians muslims and anyone that believes in god. No god would be the new religion if satan has his ways. New world order = no religion no morals complete slavery of the masses . The US Consitution is the only thing standing in the way. Fight for it to the death! and beyond!

  • @dasani7998 In regards to Ron Paul, If he can restore our Gold standard our independence, Our freedom to be openly religious and conduct our selves as we wish, re institute limited govt., back states rights, and kill the Marxist regimes that have hijacked this country w/o being JFK'd himself, we could prosper again as a nation. I loved Romney but when he backed out for the sake of the GOP I was disenchanted with him. The Antichrists own republicans & democrats alike. Americans arise. Elders too

  • @haidermann1 yea romney can never just be on one side of the fence he never stays with what he said like a week before. I respect ron paul because he never says one thing and does another . He stays with what he says never backs down and is a true american!

  • You know I liked Ron Paul.

I find it interesting in religious debates that the mormon church is always the one that gets bashed the hardest. I thought everyone was allowed to worship as they pleased. Yet we would rather have a muslim run the country then a mormon...just find it....ironic....almost like Barabbas and Christ and the people voted for Barabbas...

  • With tears in their eyes and hope in their words they try to latch onto ordinary rational thought and people.

Believing in spaces gods and magic johnsons will never get them to that place of liberty and freedom in Christ.

Do you worship a god made by man that must abide by the laws of the universe?

  • I'm not religious but if the LDS church is going to defend our constitutional rights I will be with them 100%.

  • good, intelligent man!

  • Such a well made video, and a better message. Is it the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in the background?

  • Thank you davidkat99! It's nice to see people out there who want to support a candidate based on their character, honesty, and goodness rather than support them just because they're a woman, black, or a Mormon.

Ron Paul see's people as individuals, not in groups. Thank you for supporting your principles instead of the status quo.

  • @StandFastinLiberty I know, it is refreshing after skimming Mormon channels to see that all I see is Mitt, Mitt, Mitt. Its good that we can see some sense, not blindly following a member of the same faith because we think he will uphold our virtues. Mitt is an empty suit.

  • Good job! Great video!

  • hello to all of the (awolLDSasap) sad commentaries...remember what you reap you will sow...those that have seen the light and are now trying to justify there life styles in attacks or rationalizations remember that you will stand before the judgement bar of the Lord and "all" things will be opened for all to see...I say this because I have been where you are and in time you will see the errors of your ways..it took me 10 years being out there and now I am back and thank "God" I am...(remember)

  • The light you see is acceptance into a closed organization. If you are looking for a well run family values organization, the LDS church is one of the best. Don't be deceived by religious doctrines that are unbiblical and even against God. Are you willing to be 1 of many wives in heaven? These sad commentaries are to warn people. Have you forgotten what the Bible says about who will be judged? The wicked! You you really want to be judged by God?

  • awolLDSasap, for one who has done away with Mormonism you sure seem to have a hard time letting it go. Why don't you just let us go about our lives normally and move along? Honestly. Are we hurting you somehow by staying in our religion? One would think there could be other, more profitable ways for you to spend your time arguing. Such as people who are trying to DESTROY the constitution. Most Mormons want to protect it, contrary to what you might think.

  • @kait112: This is what I like about the Mormons best: They want to preserve the US Constitution. Now, if we can only get Congress, the Oval Office, and the Courts to ABIDE by the Constitution.

  • you're a troll who hates greatness. Give off the pot

  • So calling someone a troll is supposed to be a refutation? Wow, how 'bout that!!! A mormon using an ad hominem logical fallacy because they're completely unable to rationally defend mormonism!!!

  • I know that there are members of the LDS church who are steadfast in their faith and oreservation of the constitution. I do believe that these members and others will be empowered when needed to stand up and defend the constitution not only on the battle field but also in action in society.

This will happen by the power of the spirit and the priesthood. Not necessarily because Ron Paul wants it to happen.

  • Ron Paul is a Libertarian and has even voted against laws to protect children from being used in pornography. His voting is consistently for no laws on pornography, homosexual marriage, prostitution, drugs and the list goes on and on.

Paul does not share the values of the LDS people at all on the moral issues. This is and extremely misleading and dishonest presentation.

  • Ron Paul is not supporting Porn, prostitution or drugs. He is calling on all of us to announce our freedoms and stand against immorality. We the people need to take the stand...not the Government. Government is their to protect out rights to stand against immoral behaviors.

  • Word!

  • This is a stark contrast to Joseph Smiths early comments about the U.S. Joseph said he would like to see God destroy the U.S. and nothing would be left but a grease spot. Liberty in Christ and the Bible have been the U.S. proclamation that has freed all men from bondage. It is by Him and only Him that our freedom will prevail. No church will be able to thwart the evils that are coming. Watch religious leaders that pave the way. One of these will bring in the antiChrist. Ref: Book of Revelation

  • The only thing hanging by a thread will be your worn out pants and coat when you cant afford new clothes because it will cost you a days wages to replace them. How many false back door prophecies are you going to believe? You will not find any leaders of the LDS church defending this back door prophecy anymore. I suppose they will only call it prophetic when or if it happens. I'm still waiting for the Lamanites to come in and devour like a lion and then take over the church.

  • Really now where did Smith say that surely you have the source of it? No? Didnt think so

  • You apparently have not read anything about Joseph Smith. Joseph made the grease spot statement during the Nauvoo period. Are you also in the dark about Sidney Rigdons speech that called for an all out extermination order of the Missourians 2 months before Gov. Boggs gave his order? You probably won't find these facts within the church because they hide it, just like the early practice of polygamy which is such an embarrassment today.

  • Yet again you fail to show any sources for these claims. i wonder why this is? Something like that would surely be documented somewhere if it exsisted wouldnt it?

  • I don't need to prove anything to you. I'm not an apologist. You sound like one.

  • Its a pathetic story when you find out about 60 percent of LDS church history was changed. This was done by church leaders to make the story look better. The church has no right to claim it is true when it fabricates history.

  • No i just know that you are a liar. You dont have to prove anything because you have no proof to show

  • You have ears but cannot hear. Eyes but cannot see. There has never been a need for the creation of Joseph Smiths new religion. Jesus has always been there and his gospel has not changed in 2000 years. Nothing was lost. Joseph was just 1 of many people that have tried to ADD things to the gospel and they have all been wrong.

  • Jesus gospel never changed? Dont make me laugh many churches today are so far from what Jesus himself taugh that it isint funny hence the need for the restoration.

And nice job changing the subject when you realized that you had no support for your claims very good job indeed

  • What you see in Christianity today might not be the same church services of Christs time. These service were more Jewish and wouldn't be an LDS service either. It really doesn't matter. The same belief is still there. God is spirit and is infinite. We are not automatically the sons of God, we are creatures in his sight. Grace is a free gift from God and there is nothing you can do by works or worthiness to live with God. Faith and rebirth in Christ is all that is needed.

  • To disprove Mormonism is not hard. You can tout Joseph and his wonderous writings all day long but it does not prove him right. You need to read the original word of God to see if what Joseph started was accurate and true. Josephs new god showed up 2000 years later and said, I am no longer spirit but flesh. I am no longer infinite but was once human and was exhalted to become a god. This is not the Jewish or Christian God but a god made by a man.

  • John the Aposotle wrote that any many who does not preach that Jesus is coming in the Flesh is the spirit of anti-christ. Do you believe Jesus is God? Then the Bible says Jesus-A God-is of flesh. But then you will say he has to transfigure himself? How do you know the true nature of God? Where do you get your grand idea of it?

  • "any man"

  • Go read what the prophets and apostles said and you will have a definition of who God is. In Isaiah you will find that Jesus is "The mighty God, the everlasting Father".

  • I believe that Jesus is a God. However, you are citing something which can be interpreted in multiple ways. What I am citing is a prescript, and cannot be seen in very many ways. Jesus said, his flesh was different than usual flesh (after the resurrection). In the flesh, we don't mean, in the Lust of the flesh, but in the resurrected, perfected flesh--Perfected spirit and Body.

  • I know this is speaking prospectively because it is sayins "is come", which is almost equivalent with "is coming"

Jesus is Coming in the Flesh.

1 Jn. 4: 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

  • Are you trying to promote the idea that God the father has a body of flesh?. It doesn't say this flesh is the same kind of body that the father has. "Is of God" means from God.

  • Keeping on topic Ron Paul is a member of the Episcopalian church which has ties to the Church of England. He is a Christian.

  • You will not find any verses in the Bible that mention God the father has a physical body. On the contrary. You will find verses saying that He is spirit ! Who are you going to believe? Joseph Smith or the prophets and apostles of old?

  • You have no idea how ironic your statement is. The fact is there are answers for your questions in the bible but you won't listen. Nevertheless YOU shouldn't be the ultimate authority anyways. So where do we turn when we can't agree on the interpretation of the Bible?

  • I know how you think. I too, believed that the leaders of the church were the ultimate authority. WRONG! Read the New Testament in context and drop all of the deception about errors.

And who do we turn to when we can't agree on the interpretation of the Bible?

You're not suggesting Joseph Smith are you? Have you seen the mess he made of the Bible? The church won't even publicly announce they follow Josephs translation, oops, I mean footnotes in the Bible.

  • Since Josephs translation was kept by the RLDS church, it was not accepted by the Utah church until much later. This was a great disappointment for the LDS church when they found out that Joseph did try to change and rewrite the Bible.

  • Ironic? You live in a pioty box.

The United States was NOT set up to bring a new gospel to the world. It was set up by Judeo-Christains and Masons. Joseph Smith had the freedom to start any type of religion he wanted as long as he didn't step on toes. Joseph couldn't leave well enough alone. He started to bully the locals and take over. His goal was much higher than prophet. He became mayor, general, king and a try at the presidency. Josephs clinical name today would be a MALIGNANT NARCISIST.

  • awolLDSasap: The phrase Judeo-Christian is an oxymoron. This phrase has been repeated by media outlets for so long, and so many times, that it has actually been made to seem credible.

  • It's easy enough to understand.

I'll separate the 2 words for you.

    Judeo,,,, and ,,,, Christian nation.

It's a damn good thing we have not been coined a Judeo, Christian, Mormon nation.

  • @awolLDSasap: But Judaism and Christianity are about as different as night and day. Mormonism is more of a "good works" type religion. They also place heavy emphasis on monetary endeavors, and taking over government agencies. They have an agenda, and most of America is unaware of their aspirations.

  • True and true. Every priesthood holder in the church has been indoctrinated to believe they will someday become a soldier in the army of Joseph Smith or Christ. Take your pick. Christ does not need an army of men. He has an army of angels in waiting.

  • A favorite tune they sing boosts the patriotism towards the power of man. It's a real crowd pleaser >

    "Hail to the prophet,

    assended to heaven,

    traitors and tyrants,

    now fight him in vane

mingling with gods .... bla bla bla......

The song is the triumphant praise of a human.

You will never hear a Mormon say "praise the Lord our God."

  • I have commented elsewhere on some of awol's words. Generally, we just agree to disagree, but "You will never hear a Mormon say 'praise the Lord our God'" is a bald-faced, pure, unadulterated LIE. I am a "Mormon" and I have not only heard it said, I have also said it myself, and I will again, with great confidence, undying love, and ultimate gratitude say here: PRAISE the LORD our GOD!!!! PRAISE JESUS & His eternal, wonderful atoning sacrifice. Awol strives to mis-represent and contend. BEWARE.

  • Not at all. You must live outside Utah.

If you praise Jesus, do you worship him as God? Is Joseph Smith next in line to Jesus? In Mormon doctrine Joseph will be the one allowing people of this dispensation into heaven.

This is blasphemy. Placing men equal to God or becoming gods.

  • That's simply not true. The name of our church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ours is the only church that is set up just as the Savior's was anciently. I not only love but praise a Father in Heaven and his beloved son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Joseph Smith was a great man but he was a servant of the Lord just as we all our.

  • It doesn't matter if Joseph Smith stole the name of the Lord for the church. The yellow page companies have stolen Ma Bells "let your fingers do the walking" yellow pages. This doesn't make them the original yellow pages and the name of your church doesn't make it Christian. Joseph Smith invented a new religion with a new god. If you worship the wrong God you might be in jeapardy. Jesus was never Satans spirit brother.

  • @awolLDSasap you know how the bible was put together by man there are many different books that are in the vatican stating. (that the serpent in the garden of eden) saying that there are more worlds with billions of people on them, With gods ruling there children. Are simple minds cant even grasp the god concept. The bible is full of holes and missing 100 if not 1000's of books in it. Some of which you can research. You are so simple ,minded its sicking !

  • @dasani7998 You must not believe in the Holy Spirit. Are you related to the bottle of water?

  • @awolLDSasap: Most Mormons are very sensitive about their religion, also the religion of their parents, grandparents, etc. The Church hierarchy has been artful at using a form of fear mongering on the congregants. By insisting that others are "out to get" Mormons, they are doing a grave disservice just to keep their flock in the fold. If the Mormons were persecuted in past times, it must have been for a credible reason, and not for just being a Mormon.

  • There were many credible reasons for the persecution. Pioty, theft and adultery being a few of the reasons.

  • @awolLDSasap: In a book I read from an unbiased author, he examined diaries, newspaper articles, and county records in search of the facts. It seems that Sidney Rigdon's inflammatory Salt Speech, and the stealing of non-members live stock, to be the primary factors in the Missouri conflicts between Mormons, and the Missourians. I read Rigdon's Salt Speech, and it WAS very belligerent towards non church members.

  • True.

Govenor Boggs picked up on Rigdons salt speech and used it against the Mormons to kick them out of the state. As soon as the church moved, the Missourians swooped in to grab the land. None of this would have happened if Joseph and the brethren hadn't been so adulterous, greedy and controlling.

  • @awolLDSasap: The most sad aspect of these historical facts are seeing white folks killing one another, and stealing each others' properties. Nothing makes the Evil One more happy than to see these things. Truly sad....

  • Jesus was persecuted with his apostles! Using your logic, it must have been for a credible reason. Christ said his desciples would be persecuted for their beliefs. Paul gloried in his trials and persecutions as do I. It only means that much more to me to see you here where "LDS" come to see inspirational videos only to find you here to tempt them to anger because you don't get it. I love you as a child of God, however, if you insist on being the devil's advocate, you are my enemy. Praise God!

  • @LordPillsbury1959: I feel you have taken my posts out of context. I am not here to "tempt anyone", and I feel your being a bit paranoid about something. Keep in mind that the Christ was executed for speaking the Truth, and a well-placed, and influential, religious sect within the Roman government wanted His life snuffed-out. A corporate church won't save anyone's soul. Only Christ can save a soul. If they wanted to take my life tomorrow, I couldn't care less.

  • You are not persecuted. You are corrected. Joseph Smith and the brethren were persecuted because of adultery, theft and political control.

Don't think for 1 second you can use persecution pity party as having the truth.

Joseph Smith was a false prophet on many occasion. Look it up.

  • I was just reading the in the Book of James. He spoke of faith and how 'Faith without works is dead". Christ died for all our sins and that's what gives us resurrection. Why did the Savior then say, 'in my house our many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you'. I believe we will all go to our own 'mansion' according to the Savior's judgement. If all go to the same place what is the need of a judgement day. If our works don't matter, why the need, again, for a judgement.

  • There is a BIG difference between judgement and being rewarded.

Joseph Smith pulled these little items right out of the Bible and gave his spin on what he thought they meant.

Can you trust Joseph Smith? No. He lied to the membership. in his writings he claimed that God told someone to lie. His prophecies failed. He was an adulterer.

Day after day you must repeat, I know it's true, I know it's true because there is no proof to validate anceint Jewish indians. It's a fairy tale.

  • Sounds like all you've done is search through Anti-mormon literature. Let me guess,"Kindom of the Cults" by Walter Martin. I served a mission for my church and had all kind of Bible bashers who thought they 'knew' the scriptures. I am sorry you have been so mislead. After all, we just have to agree to disagree. I will 'Never' change what I believe and know with all my heart by the power of the Holy Ghost what is true. That is how I know, not by anyone else. Good luck to you.

  • Anti mormon literature? How about fact verified history? Why do you so easily reject the gospel of Christ for another gospel?

Time to do a bit of mormonic bragging. I am 5th generation straight from Independance Mo. Does this give me enough clout? Mormonism is not of God. It was created by a man and it is fullfilling Satans goal. Go right ahead, eat the fruit and become a god.

    Read Isaiah 43: 9,10,11,12

    Oh, that's right!

    You don't believe the Bible.

  • @awolLDSasap so the Constitution was made by man? its evil to? if mormon defend the constitution. And to your you cant become a god thing! think of moses abraham Ascended up to heaven with out dying. Read the bible its in there many times. they went into there own dimension there own heaven if you will. Go look up the different dimensions in the 12th you can be anywhere anyplace on any different time line and know the out come to any choice in life. (that is god) he lives there! your a tool!

  • @dasani7998 typical Mormon name calling now? Well, you're a poo poo.

  • @dasani7998 Levels of heaven? YEP. Where the birds fly, where the sun and moon are located and the stars in the far heavens. There are also levels in HELL Look it up.

  • The Constitution of the United States will be held inviolate by the Latter Day Saints. Even when the United States as we know it today no longer exists, and that day is not far off, the Constitution will be upheld among the Saints and those who have fled from Babylon to the safety of Zion and its stakes.

  • This shit is sick Kat. Good job making these videos mah dude. Respect!

  • thanks davidkat99 for the great things you put on youtube!

  • I just returned home from Iraq and what I saw was very un-american. We are not fighting a just war there and we will pay for our ignorance of the Constitution. We hold no moral high ground and members of the LDS faith who support this war on the basis that they feel that they need to support the government need to wake up and support something greater than an evil wicked government that oppresses its own citizens along with any other people it can get its grasp on. Support the Constitution.

  • Ron Paul has won and is winning. His message of truth and freedom is resonating, it is finding backing and is slowly growing to the point it will supersede a new president of this great country!

  • I completely agree with you. I am so glad that Ron Paul stuck with his campaign so long, because it finally got me to investigate libertarianism & I FINALLY found a party that fits my political views. I know I'm not alone in this, either. More and more people are identifying themselves as libertarians, even if they haven't officially joined the Libertarian Party yet. Ron Paul will probably never become president, but he has done a wonderful job at opening the eyes of fellow citizens.

  • We all need to be Ron Pauls.

  • We know that there is at least one friendly face there.

  • I TRULY mean it when I say I think every LDS person who supports the Iraq war is out of step with WHAT 'TRULY' IS DISCUSSED within the scriptures.

We 'truly' have NO RIGHT!!! BEING THERE! Not one single bit! 'WE' Americans are paying the price for bad policies.

I think we need to stand up and take this country BACK!

It is NOT the duty of the Government to take money away from its own citizens through taxes and 'give' it to other countries it 'thinks' should have it- it causes resentment

  • amen.

  • You're absolutely correct. If we support the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan then we support the satanic Secret Combination which has taken control of the American Government (Ether 8). Latter Day Saints above all, the only people to have specific scripture which warns against this satanic conspiracy and secret combination which seeks to enslave the entire world, need to awaken to their awful situation.

  • It is clearly in our best interest to support those political leaders that support our freedom to choose. I had no idea who Ron Paul was and didn't think there was a canidate like him out there. Thank you for making this video.

  • Go revolution!

  • I am reminded of Elder Oaks' comments that those who quote prophets in pursuit of a political agenda seek to manipulate the prophets, not follow them. Benson was right, if a bit early, given what Dubya and his minions have done to Constitutional government. But the nation has survived incompetence and corruption before, if not at this scale, and it will survive this as well.

  • I take your point, but do we just choose incompetence when there is an honorable choice before us...?

  • "All is well in Zion; yea, Zion prospereth, all is well" 2Nephi 28:21.

General Authorities have been warning of Constitutional Violations in General Conference way back in 1940 when FDR was still alive. Personally I'd prefer to thrive and not just "survive". We still need to try to help the truth along.

This video being used to support Ron Paul is political and somewhat inappropriate, but the quotes from LDS authorities are still something to be considered and acted on.

  • I do not think that using prophets quotes in politics is inappropriate at all. It is taking the scriptures and the words of our prophets and likening it to our day. We are under Condemnation for not using the BOM as we should. It is full of warnings of governments on this continent being infiltrated until the nation is destroyed. President Hinckley's quote about the BOM reading as the Morning paper is SO true!

  • "the guilty taketh the truth to be hard..."

Why? "for it cutteth them to the very center" 1 Ne 16:2

  • Awesome! I'm LDS and Ron Paul had my vote before this, but thanks! I hope the national campaign sees this. With many former Romney supporters really not wanting to vote for McCain and kinda looking at Obama, they NEED to look at Ron Paul, which is actually a more comfortable fit anyway.

  • I LOVE this, had to come and watch it again!

  • davidkat99....if you haven't already, please make sure your videos make it to the Ron Paul camp. I believe the quotes from the Mormon Prophets/Leaders are very important in support for Ron Paul. I had no idea how Constitutional Mormons were and I've lived in SLC for 40 years. I'm on board. Doc Paul has my vote. Another fine video.

  • I am not sure how to get it to

the Ron Paul camp. If you know the best way of getting it into the proper hands.. let me know. I would love for him to see it.

  • It's done. The Utah rep is now aware
