Must be like 180gr bullets with 3 grains of powder or something. I am impressed by his form though. Give him another 6 years and he'll be easily outshooting adults.
@808Arsenal IPSC and the american USPSA load to a power factor to make major , so they are loaded down but the adults do it too for competive reasons. at lest the felt recoil would be like a 147 gr 9mm +P or a slightly lighter factory .40 so the kid is shooting a high powered round but it's not like .45 ball ammo or anything
We need more people like the parents that taught this kid how to safely handle a firearm. There has been so many accidental deaths because a child got a hold of a firearm thinking it was a toy, and shot either themselves or someone else (around here usually a sibling).

That's awesome! My 15 year old son has competed for a few years now, and my 7 year old daughter is going to start next month. It's great to see them starting young!

More importantly I didn't observe any unsafe behavior. He had control of the gun at all times, he obeyed the commands of the range officer, and he went a pace that was within his limits. Perhaps he got a little off balance near the end but as long as the gun and it's muzzle is controlled then that's not really a concern.

My son was 6 when i started sowing him how to prperly use & discharge a firearm he's 15 now & better than me.
Showing kid the responsibility with a firearm at an early age will satisfy any curiosity they might have at any age & lowers the chance of an accident.
