  • My granpa hauled coal back in the 50s and 60s when he was just a kid, then he went otr, now my dad hauls gas, I love hearing his stories.

  • Awesome! I love this! This is like being insided the truck! And the mountains, the view, beautiful! This is really great. You have to do more. I grew up hearing that sound...trucks coming off a mountain, loaded with coal, it's unique, to say the least. I think the coal truck drivers from Southeast Ky are the some of the best anywhere in the world. I often heard of coal hauls where dozers had to push the trucks. Thank you for sharing this.   • I am a owner/operator I drive my own truck,coal hauling is extremely slow around our area right now I have several friends that are out of work due to the coal market it's not a good time for coal trucking right now!

  • Wish I could drop down that hill that fast. Oh yeah, proves my theory that having to back up in the 6 curve must be a peterbuilt thing. LOL!!!!
