Some of you guys have absolutely NO networking knowledge, but you're trying to configure a server software. Learn to research and educate yourself before blaming the uploader. You should at least know how to find your own IP and know the difference between local IP and WAN IP.

IT SAYS CONTACTING SERVER BECAUSE U SHOULDNT WRITE YOUR IP ADDRESS AT THE CONNECT THING, U NEED TO WRITE YOUR PC'S ROUTER IP, IN MY CASE 192.168.1.11, OTHERS NEED TO WRITE YOUR IP THUMBS UP SO PEOPLE CAN SEE, sry for caps :D:D

That is because you have to port forward the port you use to connect. You can use Google to search how to port forward a ventrilo server. Once you have ported, it should work!

guys its easy instead of going to whats my ip site just go to where it shows what connection ur on. the icon with the two computers on the bottom right for xp click on it

then where it says ip address thats your ip. for vista and windows 7 go to control panel and find something like network connections and open your connection and put that ip in. reply if u have problems

yo dudes it woont work if you have a router you need to put in the gateway of your computer for axcample 111.111.1.29 you can look that up by pressing windows start button + R and type in CMD when you get the cmd press ipconfig in it and look for the defauld gateway and thats the ip you need to log in whit
