Pretty much everything was scratch built, using a heap of cardboard, plastic and LED lighting, and kept in the style of the original track in Catalan.
Cheers! Ok main building is mostly foamboard, but I pretty much used everything and anything in it and the tracks construction: Cardboard, clear plastic for windows, Balsawood, Matchsticks, anything. LEDS i bought from an electronic store. took some time to work out the wiring then i found some premade with a resistor that simply plug straight into a 12v supply. Used them for all the track lighting and they were great.
cool that is an art work , can u help me with this , i like scalextric and scx both but like scalextric little more , but their is one thing that scx has is the pit box in which u can actually refuel yur cars , so can i use that pit box of scx in my scalextric layout thanks
hmmm dunno - i cant get any SCX over here in New Zealand. I know scalextric is bringing out a pit lane/refuling thing as part of its new digital box for release in 2009
Cool track! Just awesome! I have just started buying my first Scalex set and extra Sport track and was wondering where I can get a track plan for your layout? (Overall size and track pieces)
Scalextric Sport track. Scalextric digital lane changers and digital powervase upgraded with robot powersupply/replacement mosfets so it powers 6 cars at 13.4v+ and as much amps as they can soak. Track painted and copper taped, independant power supply, PC Laptiming. heh heh - was quite some fun, and i learnt a lot of electronics during the build.
I can almost hear Murray Walkers commentary 'And I dont believe it...there's a giant cat on the track...Anything can happen in Grand Prix racing, and it usually does!'
Love the cat walking over the track. I had to tear my set up down because it drove my dog absolutely nuts. Nice set-up, btw. It's a great hobby.

I just saw your videos and they are very COOL!
I want to know more or less pieces are mounted on your Scalextric
Also find out if they could help in making a replica of yours?
