The difference is, freebords are more or less strapped to your feet, which is kind of weak, becuase all you're doing is pussy-assed version of sliding. Other than that, longboards accomplish a hell of a lot more in the other disciplines, mainly because they're more versatile than most other types of boards

@MrCatalystic i think the freebords are harder to ride on because if you balance over the middle wheels it slides out from under you. it can be pretty unnerving especially when learning. and the binding just makes it more dangerous to stack it.
