Hahahahaha, nice job animusic, YOU OWN!

  • though it is an amazing animation, would it not be sick to spend money and create something like this?

  • Lol awesome

  • who would argue that this isnt a "real animation"? a machine like this would be damn near unfathomable.

  • coudln't stop watching it..... WOW!!!!!

  • This shit is fucking amazing! But imagine ALL the TIME it took to get it perfect D= but damn does anyone else wish it was in HD!?! Great Vid

  • @peanutapt Then you have to buy the Animusic HD blu-ray.

It looks just fine to me. Maybe your computer is lagging.

  • 1:52 is my favorite.

  • When I saw this when I was seven, I was begging my dada to help me build it in our basement.

  • @girgirl09 So your saying, in 2008 you were 7, so now you are...10?! Go study your math little girl and come back when your 13 or 14 or whatever.

  • @iwatchedyourvideo101 ... Why do you have a problem with me, exactly? O_o What'd I say to offend you?

  • @girgirl09 Haha lol sorry that wuz my stupid sister....since I never log out of my account she always does STUPID comments...sorry bout that ;P. she needs to grow up MAJORLY. btw she is eight.

    Sorry hahaha (;

    xoxo Hailey <3

  • @iwatchedyourvideo101 Oh, that's ok. *laughs* I know how you feel, my Mom once got me banned on some vids for making comments on my account. >_<

  • @girgirl09 I agree. like when I wuz 8 everyone was juut silly little kids that knew nothing but to play Barbies and Legos and were so innocent. Now, I see 6 year olds texting and cussing.

  • @iwatchedyourvideo101 We live in a sad world. We're going to have to INVENT new curse words to keep them "exclusive" to the older people in society. XD

  • @girgirl09 i know, we do. haha we're probably gonna be the "old' people. did now 50% of teens in the U.S fail at science? (meaning of failing: D and lower). so much for our future

  • @iwatchedyourvideo101 We are DEFINATELY (did I even spell that right =_=) going to end up being the "old people" before we have to. .... Heck, I'm a high school senior, and I keep looking at the the freshmen and getting annoyed at how disrespectful and stuck up they can get most of the time. It's sad that I can play "back in my day' seriously and I'm only eighteen.

  • @iwatchedyourvideo101 an 8 year old trolling? What kind of world is this?

  • @Milomia9 Bad news to ya: I see 6 year olds texting and cussing. And I live in a very good and wealthy school district. Isnt that sad?

  • @iwatchedyourvideo101 yeah that kinda sucks. Wonder what the future will be like. There probably wont be a thing as movie ratings or nudity and such.

  • @Milomia9 i know and did u know 50% of all teens in U.S. fail at science? (meaning of failing: D and lower)

  • @Milomia9 And there will be no math or science anymore, and libraries will be burned because "I'd rather see the movie" mania will have taken over. *sad*

  • @girgirl09 I think the world will be gone long before that. Possibly the a few years after the next generation takes over. But if that did take over Im sure libraries would be movie-based like blockbuster. Heck people are even too lazy to drive to blockbuster. Its all online or something like that. Mybe the world really will end up like Wall-e and Avatar picture it.

  • @Milomia9 I fear it. I fear it so much. We're worried enough about how the world will turn out when WE'RE in charge- we don't need to worry about the kids younger then us screwing it up even worse. *sighs* And if Avatar has it right? I will be the first on that space ship dammit. I will not live in that distopia of an Earth.

  • @girgirl09 Humanity seriously needs to repair the Earth from what theyve turned it into.

"fun" fact: every species of wolf is endangered and even extint in some places. Yet every species is still being hunted. Now Yellowstone is soon to allow open hunting until 80% of their wolves are gone. What Im wondering is, why the fuck cant they just ban hunting so theyll have other places to live besides Yellowstone? What Im trying to say is, humanity has ruined more than their own species.

  • @Milomia9 Very true. I think hunting should only be allowed as a nessecity- not a sport. If a person needs it for food, I understand. But otherwise, leave the poor animals alone. Eventually, the time of humans will pass, but how much are we going to end up taking with us because of our destructive ways? I'm no hippie or anything, but I still would like to be able to say "Yes, that's my kid who's playing outside and having fun." I don't want the woods empty by time I'm fourty. *sighs*

  • @girgirl09 Exactly exactly exactly. I especiaally hate hunters who think of hunting as a game of COD. They think of the animals as "stupid noobs" that they can kill just beacause theyre there. It should be an occupation so only people who want to keep the populations stable can do it and not random idiots. Hunting effects more than just the animals hunted. Red foxes in Australia have caused extinctions to their prey because they were transported there for hunting purposes.

  • @Milomia9

How did this conversation about hunting get started on a video like this? XD

  • @poochy2479 Idk lol. It happens all the time. At least its a conversation and not an argument though.

About the wolves, I have a book about north american mammals and it says weather a species is thriving, threatened, endangered, or critical.

  • @Milomia9

How old is that book, exactly? And who wrote it? I've heard more often than not that there are plenty of species of wolves that are just fine.

  • @poochy2479 Im a big zoology fan so I do alot of studying. Ive seen multiple websites on animals and the state of the environment. Even my zoo accepts donations to endangered animals and wolves are one of them.

  • @Milomia9

That just seems odd, though. I know that red wolves specifically once disappeared entirely from the wild, and the zoo around here was part of the effort to bring them back, but I've always heard that wolves in general were really of least concern when it came to being endangered.

  • @poochy2479 You may be thinking of red foxes. Theyre one of the most widespread species on Earth. I also know what you might be thinking now. The majority of wolves live in Yellowstone and not around the rest of the world. Hence why they are being lazy and killing them instead of repopulating them. But they arent neccessarily endangered. Theres a place very close to me called The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, which I can visit to get news on the environment..... more

  • @Milomia9 THey say that grey wolves, the most common species are extinct in colorado and cant migrate back because of hunting in the bordering states. I post news like this in my bulletins and when I cant go there I go to a website called animalwritingscom. Check it out and youll be awed.

  • @poochy2479 It's a long story XD

  • @Milomia9 *sad sigh* Wow. How did we fall so far. *sad*

  • @Milomia9

Also, since when is every species of wolf endangered?

  • @iwatchedyourvideo101 That's mostly where it happens. Happens alot here in New York. ... Although, that's kinda to be expected at this point.

  • @iwatchedyourvideo101 America XD

  • @Milomia9 a sad, sad, world. also did u know 50% of all teens in U.S. fail at science? (meaning of failing: D and lower). so much for our future

  • @girgirl09

i already started building it, its not finished ye i havent exactly got it so the balls hit the instruments perfectly, and its not in my basement

  • @benny6555 ... That is SO cool. OwO

  • @girgirl09

i had to start building in my garden but i gotta be careful that some cats or somin dont steal a cowbell or something

  • @benny6555 Wow, how did you even get that to work?

  • @girgirl09

if you know about forces gravity, and about 100 other things that apply to making something of this size/caliber work its quite difficult but can be done if you commit to it

  • @benny6555 .... That is the coolest thing EVER. Good luck, I hope it works! ^^

  • THIS IS THE NEXT BIG INVENTION!!

    THUMBS UP IF AGREE

  • @lianndolphins11 can u make me 1?! =D

  • It's like my love of rube goldberg machines has collided with my love of music. Brilliant stuff here, can't wait to watch the rest...man what a fantastic thing to stumble upon.

  • That's what happens when you're using your instruments to pop pop corn.....

  • I want one...

  • i could watch this a whole day if I had to. It go hard, and i just saw the video of the real people who just played the whole song. It's crazy the way they do that.

  • I think it was this video that got me into picking apart the different instruments playing each peice of music I listen to. This makes it easy since theres a different visual for each sound as it is introduced.

  • The animaion is beautiful. It looks real

  • 3:00 best part. period.

  • This is the best by far!!!

  • imagine if you made this to the perfect how much it would be worth

  • 13 dislikes!? :O Drunk people have been watching this...!

  • Hehehe omg this is so old! :D Probably almost 10 years or so. Still great though, I enjoyed it back then, and I still enjoy it today. ^_^

  • Now instead of an animation make it an actual machine =P. Cool video tho.

  • wats cool about this is that the notes played in real life are the same notes played in the animation

  • OMG! 0:25 sounds like link the game!

  • this is to good for words.

    just bravo...

  • @rabiman666 that is my line O.o

  • this is awesome! i love it

  • Do they create the music first and then create the animation to sync the music?

  • @pardingo

I think they created a program that animates certain movements in the instruments based on the notes that the creator feeds into it. They did a Pipe Dream 2 to see if it would work with a different song, I think.

  • @pardingo That Is Correct, Yes, They Do

  • @pardingo What happens if they used the animation to create the music? Or use replicas from other songs to create a different technical version of that song? There are many possibilities :P

  • It would be awesome if they could build a machine like this :D it's truly amazing and really cool

  • This is the best thing i have ever seen ( my friend sent it to me on e-mail)

  • For some reason this makes me think of Rhythm Tengoku music.

  • id like to believe that this is how video game music is made :3

  • wow that good

  • i wonder if its possible to acctualy make this machine?

  • somehow it reminds me of Crash Bendicoot 2 jungle themes xD

  • How the hell did they animate this?!

  • This machine is the most mechanically fascinating.

  • @3FingerD magic

  • Comment removed

  • Needs more cowbell.

  • wicked idea although does sound a little like computer game music

  • kinda reminds me of a spyro song

  • This could be used in a commercial for bouncetown! It could also be used in an action movie.

  • énorme!

  • Thats awesome.

  • I wish I could play THAT on my keyboard at home!

  • I am an 8 year old 2nd grader and has watched all of ANIMUSIC 1. I have watched all of them. All 8. Not on YouTube because they have an ANIMUSIC DVD. And my music teacher has the DVD. I like most of them, And I am glad ANIMUSIC is out.

  • @bpmagruder my music teacher has the dvd too thats what got me lovin this. i am 10 and in 4th grade. my music teacher is ms yeh. is yours too?

  • dude, im in ms yeh's class wooohooooo! she said that she likes me way more than she likes you. probably because everyone thinks your gay. its ok though

  • @uttermoststew who r u? think carefly b4 u anser...and u migh not wana give me yor adres...

  • this is the best music animation i've ever seen in my entire life (so far)

  • damn this is my favorie animusic song/vid....

  • dont u think that the balls should have fallen through 1-3:26?

  • watch this video on weed!!! awesome5*

  • Yeah I'm reminded of it too.

  • Dude,I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT ANIMUSIC IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • yeah im a musician im 13 and it is the best

  • @rwmerlot777 me too lolz

    (o Y o) tits.....

  • I just bought a new computer 'cause my old one exploded with the awesomeness of this video! XD Just kidding!

  • This is officially full of awesomeness it's AMAZING! It is my favourite!!!! I LOVE ANIMUSIC!!! :)

  • Someone is going to build one and Sharper Image will carry it. "You have a player piano? Hmm, check this out!"

Instead of chords, make them tiles for the balls to bounce off.

  • LOVE IT! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

    Can ya feel the love.....

  • i thought video games at the start.

  • i thot of this animusic vid as my fav & it still is

  • super awesooooome

  • I love it! :)

  • I wonder if you could do this in real life.

  • I belive you could, but it would require a real good kind of mechanism to shoot the balls the same speed and curve every time and a clever system to recover the used balls. You can properbly do this with some advanced computer programming to control eg. airflow through the pipes that shoot the balls and such.

  • Or just have the same preassure in a tank all the time, with a simple valve that I can make at home.

There are waaay easier solutions than having a computer do everything for you.

If you are clever enough you can make a MacClassic -88 do all the thinking for you.

  • genial! increible, ESTILO!!! xDDD wenaa (Y)

  • someone tried to tell me this is real and on display at Smithsonian....bs but animusic is cool

  • omg for some reason i emedeatly thought mario in the beggining

  • Really? I thought donkey kong country xD

  • It sounds more like Crash Bandicoot to me.

  • Your right it is like hanenbow! Good observation!

  • Does this remind anybody else of hanenbow?

  • It's like the metal bars and the wooden bars are having a competition near the end!

  • As close as your gonna get to Dr. Suess in the real world, ...... virtually.

  • I wonder how many balls it would take to do this irl...

  • that so awesome even though it's fake

  • @DriPiDZ This isn't fake. It's a real animation

It would be fake if they were were saying it was a machine they had made

  • @st0rmforce good,,l.,m

  • @st0rmforce Actually, I think he might have been referring to the hoax. He probably thought this was a real machine but then realized it was only an animation.

  • Why would anyone NOT WANT TO WATCH THIS! It's completely out of this world, almost literally. BRAVO!

  • No one said it would be an easy task... :)

  • one of the main problems would be trying to get all of the strings exactly lined up to make all of the balls fallexactly to the other string and then have to get that one to bounce onto the drum and then into the hole. and then the ball tubes that spit the balls out...

  • Tis just why it's animated. You are correct. The exact set up would be nothing short of an enginering masterpiece, reserved only for the most incredible of workers and even then it can have flaws. Timing, string tension, belts that need to have the correct notes set. Even one second off and the ball might not strike the note properly, resulting in a less than perfect preformance.

  • no offense, but its computer genarated. awesome, but unreal literaly.

  • @kpam2000 thats the point. Its amazing and the possibility of it being able to happen is still there.

  • Could be so damn awesome if someone made this as live physical machines one day 8D

  • IT IS GREAT!!!

  • the round xylophone would definitely be the hardest, the the ball tube would have to be angled and most likely the outer part would rotate and not the inner for more stability and accuracy......still the return tubes are the problem.

  • you don't need return tubes, just a lot of balls

  • Ping Pong balls for the best efect.

  • hehe...Nice Anime....Im an animusic fan for over 2 years now!!

  • I'm and fuckkkkkk... I'm going to get one of these one day

    Like seriously guys

    get this

    we can send people

all the way to THE MOON

why cant we make one of these things, man?

    Im gonna do it...

    I really am, man

one day dude, I'll do it

  • getting that middle circle thing working alone would be harder than getting to the moon , if youre making it exactly the same.

  • the other hard part is getting them to bounce properly and consistently off the splash cymbol, it moves so much that it might be hard to get it to bounce consistently.

  • I agree, the the return tube would most likely NOT work. A trough type return in the floor however may work, high sides would prevent lost balls.

  • this is cool, so is the second one

  • i lost count of how many times my jaw dropped

  • Most of it's possible, except the big circular bit... Someone really should build this

  • The circular thingy isnt that hard, deflecting the balls in different directions can be done with magnets. What is alot harder is the balls bouncing off of strings in a predictible fashion.

  • 1:11 sounds like crash bandicoot :P
