  • Not a copy...

First of all, China bought the Varyag from Ukraine, not Russia.

Second of all, the carrier was incomplete and China is just completing the carrier, which was just in structure form. How is it copying?

  • lmao, Russia just yet found out that China copies everything ..... fail.

  • @EmperorofTerra fail troll is fail

  • @NosferatuAaacaado no shit Sherlock Fail ....

  • so u don't think 1000's of system copied and them all put together on a ship. wake up there Reverse engineering everthing possible. don't sell them top tech or you will pay for it !! and this means u.s eads and russ must not sell top tech to those like india china pak n.k brazil ect

  • fuc* conway he's a obama liberal

  • so how's russian/chinese relationship as china cuts russian out again with copycat fighters ect? you guys can't keep giving these people your top technology just to copied and stolen. anything bought by pak-ind is automatically sent to china to be Reverse engineered. u.s,eads and russian is taking a huge hit by Reverse engineering.we must must not allow these top technology out untill the next gen is ready to be manned (beside you don't want to arm the guy next to you and turn them on you later!

  • Precisely speaking. The Varyag was bought from Ukraine after USSR fell a part. Therefore the Title was misleading. Varyag was stripped off it's military capability therefore only the externals of the carrier remains and everything inside is China made. There is little point of purchasing it in the first place if they were to completely change everything is there? Therefore this video failed on two aspect. 1)Ukraine is not Russia and 2)China purchased nothing but a shell, therefore not copied.

  • @pakjai you idiot its still the same carrier class

  • @HongKongKanto Same carrier class but different technology entirely you idiot.

  • yes

  • They shure spend alot of money and work on that "Turist atraction". ;)

I think it's most likely they'll use the Varyag for crew/pilot training

    as well as general experience.

The Chineese do not seem to be in a rush to expand their fleet

with huge numbers of new ships,

so I'd guess they're going to use the V for a couple of years,

then build 2, maybe 3 carriers and then move on to other things.

Still, they've been toying with the idear for decades, so I wont hold my breath.
