Akshay is simply an entertainer, he's no great actor (look at his award list).

All he does is just jabbering great lines written by the writers of his films.the director, dialogues, story play a more important role than him. Now, if you say that they were all hits just because of him, then what happened to 2009? He was there in all the films but none of his films were hits, that's bcuz the direction, story, script were bad, hence, though he was his normal self he couldn't save his films. Get it?
