some people naturally have strong nails. it's part of their genetics. my parents have rock hard nails and mine are extremely flimsy. this doctor at my mom's job recomended a vitamin called biotin. i don't know where you could find it at though. walgreens maybe. it made my hair thicker and my nails stronger. i hope i've helped.

seche vite is a really good top coat dries the nails fast and keeps the polish from chipping. You can get it at Sally's.
