A 400ex can keep up with a 450r if the rider on the 400ex is good

The best thing you can do to a 400 is put 450 shocks on it and widen the back however by atleast 3" total. You have more control from the shocks and you can take corners faster that its widened. Picked the shocks up for 60 and spacers for 20. Best thing I put on so far
