I think the only other actor in the show that gets less of a mention and really sustains it is Richard T. Jones' character, Ellison. He has a much deeper character, and I suppose unlike the others, it rubs off from his real life connections as a church minister. It would be sad for him to go!

I get the feeling that Summer is the lifeline of this show. Sarah and Derek are ok, but many of the other characters such as Cromartie or John Connor are dysfunctional. The actors aren't bad, just their role personalities suck.

Often the plot isn't that great, but sometimes the episodes can have a nice atmosphere such as in the episode s02e11.

Perhaps they should deepen the role of Summer, within good taste of course.

Also stop doing cliches.
