Great video man! I'm with you totally on the angle. If I try to put it up to 45 degrees or higher, I don't feel it at all in my chest. I have a friend that always says that flat bench is dead. Funny that he's got horrible form, high body fat, and the worst saggy chest I've ever seen for a guy who calls himself a gym rat. Too high an angle brings in too much front deltoids. Great form and video. Screw the youtube haters.

Thats not an incline its easier to lift that weight seated like that raise the support to a 45 degree angle but thats still alot of weight I CAN DO THAT TOO BRO
@Soxland grunting is fine you forcing yourself to push the weight up makes you grunt and breath the correct way that your brain sees fit to get the weight up.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! FINALLY - SOMEONE DOES EXIST ON YOU TUBE WHO KNOWS PROPER FORM, PROPER ANGLE, and uses CORRECT FOOT POSITIONING, CORRECT SETUP and CORRECT COMPLETION ON BENCH PRESSING! Congrats to you bro! Finally, Jesus H. Christ.
Excellent! Incline DB Press is a great exercise and to be tossing up 120 for reps is very impressive. And, I agree with you that a low incline angle is best for chest.
damn!! my mistake. you are one strong mother f***. i see guys at the gym bigger than you and they can only do 110 lbs dumbells. i give you props my friend.
Thats because those same jackasses are all blown up with water weight from the roids, but don't have the strength to back up the size. The guy in this video is natural, you can tell by his development. I'd rather be 200 lbs. and benching 330, than a fat 230 lbs. benching 300. Anyway, nice lift bro.
@AnDrEwEsTeS53 Hey dumbass, they are 120 lbs on each side. I can press 60 pound dumbbells on each side and I definitely don't look like that dude smart one.
nice lift! very good form too, I like how u had total control of the weights from beginning to then, and not dropping it to the floor like how some people do, it's so annoying see.
when i first saw this, i thought it meant 120 lb barbell. i was like how is this impressive but when i saw its dumb bells, i was like "wow i have a big mouth". good job to you.

Props for: 1) Not grunting, 2) Not yelling the f word, 3) Not throwing the weights down, and 4) Working out in a gym with a ping-pong table.

actually grunting helps it is a motivator. watch some of scoobys videos.

that guy looks strong but somehow those weights do not look like they are 120 lbs each.
CUBANO76 4 years ago
there are five 10lb plates and one 5lb plate on each side of each db. the handles weigh 10lbs, so thats 55+55+10 for each DB = 120

That's because you've never worked out in a gym before.

"is that flat bench press or incline looks like flat"
Flat? Where do you see flat? Jesus, it's obviously on an angle.

Most impressive. What a stud!
winger1 5 years ago
not bad but the bench is a little flat. try bumping it up from #3 to #4
bkwndr 5 years ago
an angle slightly lower than 45 degrees hits my chest the best.
bskola 5 years ago
Not too bad, but the incline seems a bit low. Maybe try it at 4 instead of 3.
bkwndr 5 years ago
hey man sick lift, whats your usually rep scheme, im very intrested.

Sweet lifts. Those collar clips scare me though... either will dig into my leg or will slip off during the exercise.
