what a great master! barenboim is not only a magnificent concert pianist, he is also an excellent teacher who is capable to explain his ideas very well and ENCOURAGES his students, he is so well mannered, so kind and spirited...i have seen him in concert and i was in awe, it was a spiritual experience

To be honest, I can't really remember what I meant back then; maybe it was just about someone's comment which was later erased, or, perhaps, about the fact that any professional musician should consider his duty to perform the sort of elementary analysis Barenboim kindly presents here instead of playing like a mindless clown.

The piano is the object that serves as an analogy palate for everything. It is the best instrument at this, in fact the only one that can do everything, because it is clear and controllable with many notes.
