@rensseak Well, the entire purpose of playing a groove is to keep time. In essence, the drummer is the backbone of the band - the one responsible for keeping the time. That is the drummer's main function. Any professional who's worth his weight will tell you that. :-)

It must be tough growing up as a drummer in the city. This kid's got some skills and some flavor shining through. It would be interesting to see him in about 5-8 years all grown out of that kit and dialed in on what he really wants to play on. Don't ever quit 'lil man! You've gone too far for that.

What the hell are you talkin about ZYNC3008? I've been playing drums for over 30 years, been on several major labels and on American Bandstand, if you know what that is. If they aren't giving you any credit, it's either because you blow or you're too stupid to work yourself out a good deal or both. Instead of jumpin around from instrument to instrument, why not try to stick to just one and master it? Then you can give people your advice.

Being in a band isn't all that great. They hardly give you any credit if your a Drummer or a Bass player. I would know cause I play guitar and drums. I play solo and don't wanna go in a band. He's probably been offered to but declined for reasons like mine and/or more.
