I've talked to soldiers that went to Iraq and all the Iraqi people were happy we were there. The only unhappy people were the insurgents and they were mostly from other countries trying to die in jihad.

The death count is 60,000 and most of those are deaths by the insurgents.

I've talked to soldiers that went to Iraq and all the Iraqi people were happy we were there. The only unhappy people were the insurgents and they were mostly from other countries trying to die in jihad.

migue, I distintly remember in 1976 America (under the helm of James Carter) having double digit unemployment, 21%+ interest rates, people being forclosed on and America on the brink of nuclear war with Russia. Far worse than what Bush's legacy left us. I and most Americans agree that Carter was the worst president - ever - and he didn't have a war going on.
But his ass became unemployed and he lost his White House for Reagan to come in and fix the problems with sound economic policy.
