@merlin96Amber Yeah, except when you have family members who are actually on antidepressants for real, not fake, mood swings and mental health issues. Then...not quite so funny or cute. Especially when there is no "magic pill" to make symptoms disappear. Drugs only mitigate the symptoms and have awful side-effects. Was very disappointed in that part. Sorry, Paul. :(

I'm an Army reservist, and I'm in an engineering unit (civil engineering and construction, mostly). I also noticed your red shirt. Did you know that red is the color of the Army Corps of Engineers?
"There are not too many ladies who like engineers." This, from the guy whose Engineer's Guide to Cats was the video that launched dozens of "Marry me" comments. Mm-hm. Also, all but one of the many engineers I work with is married, so I'm thinking there are enough ladies who like engineers to go around.
Your assumptions of cat-hugging may need some re-framing. The total world population of cats is relatively stable, considering the dynamic rate of births and deaths in the global ecosystem. While I agree that hugging every cat in the world may have some unrealistic boundaries, assuming that the cats could be gathered and that Debbie does not hug dead cats, if Debbie exclusively hugged kittens at 1 kitten/s, she could hug every cat in the world in appx. 12 years, maintaining good quality of life.
@Lizardqueensrevenge Assumptions: each kitten is hugged individually and only once, cat lifespan = 12-14 years, she hugs continuously for 10 hours a day. The cats would have to be brought to her in "huggable" state, (e.g. washed and/or tranquilized) to reduce chance of injury or flea infestation. This would entail a considerable financial cost, but we may assume infinite resources for a girl as determined as Debbie.
Frankly, my favorite part was when you brought out the little list to make sure you covered everything. Love it. I'm definitely a fan!! Just to let you know, my kitty, Cara, loves your videos. My other kitty, Nala, ignores them...

Umkay. I just watched Debbie's video and I applaud your sensitive response. I'm sure she cried as she viewed it. I started to tear up a little when you adroitly explained the physics of a rainbow and it's inability to support a basket of kitties wearing bow ties. As an Earth Scientist, I thought that was totally hawt. I'm still working on the yodeling thing, but my cat really isn't into it - and, well, we know who's in charge, so there go my yodeling aspirations.
