  • Sorry but doing this is stupid. Squats are to be done in a stable environment and are to be done to increase leg strength and overall body strength. You're just asking for an injury to happen and also severly limiting the effectiveness of the exercise by using less weight.

Start doing real training if you want real results.

  • @Raptorel i appreciate the advice , but i did post this 3 years ago , i don't really do this type of stuff anymore , i only did for fun , because a friend and i were obsessed with the baso , cheers anyways and thank you for watching

  • @yogafrank Haha good for you then, hopefully you got your squat up and performance likewise.

  • Why in the world do you need stability in your regular squat?

  • i am am trying to develop my feet for my drumming, so i was told by my good friend that is also a football player that this would help work differnt parts of the leg, so far i find that it is true , where as in terms of muscle grow the ball is probably irrelevant , but i do notice that i have better balance and my walking is much more swift then training in the conventional way , and my feet have been much faster on drums, plus it's challenging, and regular squats got boring for me,

  • I think it's great that you are making yourself so fit, making yourself stronger, but it is technique and practise that enables fast and accurate feet/legs when drumming...but doing that certainly won't hurt your playing, wish I was as fit.!

    Cheers, Dean

  • Ive heard that doing these on a full exersize ball is way more functional.

  • i wouldn't know i was doing these in a strange training faze in my life , i don't do them any more i find regular squats are fine and give you less risk of injury, but i would love to see them done on a full ball if you have seen people please send me a link, thank you so much for writing and great training

  • This is a useless exercise. Stop it.

  • i don't mind you saying it's useless , but you should tell me why, and i assume you haven't tried , so try it first an then reply
