BMW E60 M5 - raped by 15 seconds on the Nurburgring

Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG - alot heavier and slower to 60 than the M5.

Jaguar XF-R - they pulled out of the CTS-V Challenge at the last minute.

they also suck, yet Cadillac as a whole holds the 3rd spot in the J.D. Powers and Associates 2009 Initial Quality Survey. there are 3 other American manufacturers in the top 10 as well.

Listen, Chubb Rock, yea, the CTS-V is fast. Very fast. An impressive performer. And it's only taken Detroit 100 years to catch up to the competition. You can start thumping your chest after it's been on top for the next 100.

The CTS-V also has one fatal flaw, it comes from Detroit and looks, feels, smells and it built accordingly. Pretty sure the interior is rat leather.

First of all, it didn't take 100 to Detroit to catch up to the competition. Detroit wasn't playing catch-up with anyone during the '50s or the '60s. Just because it is just recently coming out of a really bad era doesn't mean things have always been bad.
